- In the last episode of season two, a character is suddenly killed by an explosion. Later, her head (no gore is shown) is seen in a morgue. Season three reverses this by stating it was a dream.
- At the very end of season two, Todd detonates a nuclear bomb and seemingly brings about the death of (almost) every person on Earth. This was foreshadowed in the cold openings prior to this specific event, but the implication is disturbing nonetheless. Season three states that this was all a dream.
