This is a terrible, terrible movie. The acting is barely passable and it looks like the cast came straight from their first amateur dramatic class to embark upon making a movie. The script is hackneyed, the premise is cliched. The lead character isn't at all likeable either, so despite being the victim of an alleged bullying campaign she just comes across as a cold blooded, selfish psychopath. I really couldn't believe just how bad this movie was after the 10/10 reviews (presumably from close friends or production team members). Please don't waste your time like I did - watch something else instead.

This film just does enough to keep you on the edge of your seat, with what they had to work with. While the plot was somewhat an original take the comedic elements fell flat in a few parts.
I got this through streaming and would recommend someone to give it the time if they're interested in a quick fun film. I enjoy horror of all kinds and watch Full Moon Features and LJN movies, so this was right up my ally. If you're looking for a serious big block buster horror film this is not for you. This is mainly for people with a sense of humor and enjoy seeing some fake blood fly by with some foaming at the mouth!

This is a rare lo-fi horror film with an interesting lead character and a compelling script. Peggy really grabs hold of the narrative and drags it forward, kicking and screaming, as she encounters a host of memorable skeevballs.
The supporting performances - from the characters we delight in seeing get theirs to Peggy's more wholesome allies - are believable and energetic across the board. The setting also oozes small-town Midwestern-ness in every scene, giving the tone a unique flavor.
I was reminded of classic black comedies like Kind Hearts and Coronets (1949) and Heathers (1988), which is good, if nasty, company in which to find one's movie.
Overall, I'd recommend Peggy on the strength of its wild and chaotic kill scenes, true-indie cred, and surprising amount of heart.

Fun film that I had a chance to see at Hells Half Mile film festival, there were people from the cast there in attendance and I really enjoyed the film. While it is a Horror film with some rather uncomfortable situations, there were parts that were funny. I'm glad the film was in on the joke and didn't take itself to seriously.
Overall this film was a fun time and if you're a fan of Lower budget films, horror, or both of those things, then I think you'll get something out of this. Check it out on streaming, or if you see it in a festival near you. The girl who played Peggy did a great job! I enjoyed her performance!
