RETURN TO THE HIDING PLACE, US version - has drastic changes from the 2011, UK version. It is now 1:38 (instead of 2:35), includes plot re-writes and completely new full scenes, re-filming, complete re-editing, new music scoring and re-arranging. Some subplots were removed and new elaborate scenes were added to enrich this story based on true events. Half of the retained film content was drastically reduced altering the story from the original focus being on Piet Hartog and Aty to now follow the life of Hans Poley as the chronicler of the story, with a completely new surprise ending resulting in an entirely new film, soon to be released. RETURN TO THE HIDING PLACE tells the exciting story of Dutch Resistance fighter Hans Poley in World War II, who found refuge at Corrie ten Boom's house from the 1974 movie THE HIDING PLACE. Hans defies the new Nazi commandant and escapes with his life. He takes refuge in Corrie ten Boom's house, which is crowded with Jewish refugees and becomes part of her teen age army. Hans gets a false identity and joins the Dutch Resistance. As the Nazis commit atrocity after atrocity, the danger for Hans and his new compatriots increases tenfold.
