More jokes, same amount of "story"
kosmasp13 September 2013
The one-liners and puns keep coming (as are the people involved). That's kind of the jokes you are getting here. They are good natured and they might make you smile from time to time. There are three things guaranteed (apart from the "jokes") in a Tanya X outing! Soft core intercourse, Tanya X portrayed by the same actress and a shower scene leading to self pleasuring.

Actually there is a forth one: A new boss! Once again (the third one so far) Tanya X gets her orders from another guy (again as "pervy" as the guys before him). We also get Newton again (Q to you and me and those who know James Bond). Another thing that was more than interesting: There is a sex scene that involves Tanya X, where she openly is showing her indifference to the act. It's kinda strange and alone warrants the extra point I gave the movie. It was the only sex scene I watched from the series so far, with an added/interesting peeping tom/Newton angle to it. Nicely done. Otherwise jokes are hitting and missing, but with a new cast/characters (except Tanya and Newton that is)

You did get a bonus

Warning: Spoilers
Beverly Lynne returns with a new cast of girls as she must infiltrate a brothel. The set up could lead to a number of entertaining scenes, but tends to have a bland soft core script. Jayden Cole is a welcomed edition but just has one scene.

Softcore. All sex and nudity.

Tanya X back in action

It's very rare that a softcore is good enough to spawn a sequel, but the Tanya X character played by Beverly Lynne is back again in another adventure that fleshes out the character's universe a bit more.

I'm a huge fan of the spy softcore thing, from the Andy Sidaris stuff to sexy, fun comic books like Danger Girl, so I particularly love this type of movie. I thought that it was a pretty good, fun, light hearted spy story, but a few things kept it from being really exceptional.

I'm a fan of the more busty girls, and none of the actresses in this particularly stood out. This is a matter of my personal taste though, and there definitely weren't any girls that weren't at least attractive, just none that really did it for me.

The other thing that really bothered me was the scene between Beverly Lynne and Frankie Cullen. The scene ended up being played entirely for laughs, with a bored Tanya X filing her nails and being completely uninterested in sex. Maybe this might appeal to some people with a fetish for being ignored or something, but I felt like it made the scene totally boring. I realize that filming actors having simulated sex as often as one does in these movies might get boring, and the desire to play it for laughs sometimes, but I think the jokes should be in more of the set up and not the sex scenes themselves. People watch these for the sex. If the sex is handled in a manner that makes it a joke and not sexy, what's the point?

Overall, I really did enjoy the movie, it just bothered me that this seemed to cross the line into missing the point of these kinds of films.
