- there are nudity through out the whole movie , full nudity and partial, male and female, many sex scenes including sex with beast and pedophilia, (man and women with a boy)
- A woman bathes a young boy, his buttocks and genitals can be seen as she scrubs him; not sexual.
- An ill naked boy is being dragged across the ground, only his buttocks are seen.
- Two cats are introduced to each other, they groom and start to mate, the camera cuts away just as one cat is about to mount the other, they are heard yelling implying that they are mating.
- A woman walks across a field fully naked, her genitals and breasts are obscured by a bird cage and her hair.
- A man and a fully naked women approach each other in a field, they proceed to have sex; there is partial nudity, most of it is obscured by long grass. A young boys peeks to see what they are doing then leaves them alone; in the next scene they are seen lying naked on the ground post coitus.
- A few teenagers approach a woman sitting against a tree trunk, she looks at them suggestively, spreads her legs and starts to rub her groin with her hands. In the next scene a boy is shown having sex with her while the others watch; only his buttocks can be seen.
- People scavenge clothes and other belongings from corpses, some bodies can be seen stripped completely naked, however most of it is obscured.
- A man is shown tied up to wooden post completely naked, his genitals can be seen but is never in focus.
- A young boy hears a woman moan loudly as she masturbates in the corner of the room.

- Couple of soldiers forcefully strip a girl, it is implied they are about to sexually assault her; her buttocks are seen.
- A soldier is shown riding a horse as he he holds a woman against him and rapes her. Both of them are completely naked, however the nudity is partial.

- Strong violent content. I think you should be at least 14-16 years old to watch it.
- Several instances of defenceless people are shown being gunned down by soldiers.
- A small village gets massacred by russians.
- A jewish woman and her baby get shot to death by a nazi.
- A girl slaps a boy a few times when he fails to get an erection.
- A man can be seen beating his wife up.
- Several animals are shown being set on fire.
- A young boy stalks and shoots a man in broad daylight who previously pushed him and yelled at him by making a racial slur and called him a thief.
- Several people grab a young boy and throw him in a cesspool.
- Not as violent as the book but still brutal.
- Apart from the scene in which the boy finds the man without eyes, it's not really more brutal than for example Schindlers List. Same goes for Men Behind The Sun.

- A group of boys pour gasoline over a weasel and set it on fire, the animal is shown writhing and screeching as the flames engulfs it. Later a boy buries the charred body of the animal.
- A young boy gets treated abusive through out the movie for being jewish.
- A moaning eyeless man can be seen sitting next to tree, a boy walks towards the man and hands over the man's eyeballs. The man starts to cry when he feels the eyeballs, and tries to push the eyes back into the sockets.
- A jewish boy and a jewish man get thrown out of a truck and get beaten with a cane by a man who screams racial slurs at them.
- A woman butchers a chicken in front of a boy, blood gets splattered on the boy's hands.
- Ravens are shown pecking at boy's head and face as he is buried from the neck down. There is lots of blood dripping down his face and head.

- Pedophilia is implied as a man comes out of a bedroom pulling his pants up, a crying boy can be seen lying on the bed half naked.

- It's implied that a man gets mauled to death by a horde of rats.
- A man attacks another man with a spoon, and tears his eyeballs out. The eyeballs can be seen lying on the ground.
- A boy hangs a goat in a tree, the goat is clearly distressed as it screams. It is implied that the boy cuts the goats head off. He takes the head and throws it through a window, in order to scare a girl.
Frightening & Intense Scenes
- A man hangs himself.
- A man paints the wings of a bird and releases him to fly with his flock, the other birds go berserk and peck the bird to death. The bird can be seen falling out of the air lying on the ground dead.
- A couple of women attack another woman and shove a bottle up her genitals, quite intense.
