It seems like mass layoffs aren’t the only trend in the current gaming landscape. In the last couple of years, we’ve seen more and more games come out in early access. This is an attempt by the developers to test a product and develop a fanbase before the game officially releases in a complete state. However, this model has led to some questionable ethics, with developers selling unfished games.
Still, the early access model has proven to be a major success for many popular titles such as Dead Cell, Baldur’s Gate 3, and Darkest Dungeon. Recently, Moon Studios came under fire after players reported performance issues in their latest title, No Rest for the Wicked, which debuted in early access. However, the studio’s CEO has talked about the usefulness of the early access model and believes that even popular classics such as Dark Souls could’ve benefitted from it.

April is coming to a close, and it has been a great month for Sony Interactive Entertainment. Their latest title, Stellar Blade, has captured a significant portion of the gaming community due to its captivating storyline and Soulslike gameplay.
The game is likely to be popular among both casual gamers and fans of the genre. However, there could be a game that looks as if it may surpass it in popularity as the best Soulslike game of April.
Another Title May Knock Stellar Blade Off the Top Spot Stellar Blade is set for release on April 26th; however, there may already be a game bidding for its throne.
The game in question is the new title No Rest for the Wicked by publisher Moon Studios, it has a release date not too far from the aforementioned Stellar Blade but is already available to players on early access as of April 18th.

The PlayStation 5 is the console that is preferred by the majority in 2024, and the numbers prove it. The ninth generation of consoles is another in which Sony has proved its worth and has fortified its place in the market.
Sony’s Ps Plus subscription service was popular enough, providing multiplayer gaming, monthly titles, and more, depending on the subscription tie. The service, however, missed the Day One release offering that its arch-nemesis, Microsoft’s Game Pass, was known for. But Sony seems to partially incorporate that offering, with two Day One releases confirmed to be on the service.
Good news for PlayStation fans this April PlayStation Plus Premium and Extra subscribers will get Dave the Diver as a Day One release on the service.
Per an official announcement on the Ps blog, Dave the Diver and Tales of Kenzera: Zau are coming as Day One releases on the PlayStation Plus...

It goes without saying that Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean Winchester (Jensen Ackles) are the heart of "Supernatural." Throughout its 15-season run, the monster-slaying brothers were the face of the CW series: its story begins and ends with them, saving people, hunting things and living up to their family legacy. But its also true that they couldn't have saved the world from multiple apocalypses without a little help from their friends.
As the seasons progressed, what began as a story about two brothers searching for their father became a beautiful example of the power of found family. It's hard to remember a time before Castiel (Misha Collins) was a core part of their team and, while he's only introduced in the last couple of seasons, Jack Kline (Alexander Calvert) later becomes a crucial addition to their family.

At one of its increasingly regular presentations, on Thursday Netflix Spain unveiled seven new projects including “If Only,” a Spanish adaptation of the Netflix Turkish original canceled before shooting by Turkish authorities.
Where once Netflix would host its presentations early in the year and announce its ambitions for the next 12 months, the platform’s original Spanish programming pipeline has grown to an extent that Thursday’s showcase only covers the next few months and hinted at plenty more to come in late 2021.
In both level and volume of production, the day’s announcements confirm Netflix as one of if not the, foremost investors in original Spanish series and movies, at the same as its talent pool is expanding to include ever more of the principal producers in Spain. New Netflix originals are now being produced by now-regular partners Nostromo, producers of “The Minions of Midas”; “Élite” producers Zeta Studios; “Money Heist...

Barcelona-based film-tv studio Filmax has acquired international sales rights to Cesc Gay’s new comedy “Stories Not to Be Told,” which is currently shooting.
Filmax will also handle Spanish distribution to the latest outing from Gay, whose 2021 Goya Awards contender “The People Upstairs,” has sold to major territories in Europe and North America.
Written by Gay and regular co-scribe Tomás Aragay “(“In The City,” “Truman”), Gay’s ninth feature is produced by Marta Esteban at Imposible Films and backed by Spanish pubcaster Tve, Movistar Plus and Catalan pubcaster Tvc.
The film takes in five comedic tales that criss-cross at random and focus on the emotions of the main characters, Gay said, adding that the stories are “told with a lot of rhythm and action and characterized by acerbic, yet tongue-in-cheek tone, as the title suggests.”
The short stories are sparked by a chance meeting, the suffering of public humiliation or an absurd decision.

Sky Germany’s “Pagan Peak,” Movistar +’s “Giants” and ITV’s “Cleaning Up” will be sneak-peaked at the inaugural MipDrama Buyers’ Summit, a series-in-production showcase which also highlights Russia’s “Trigger.”
The country with the biggest presence at the Summit is, however, Finland, sporting “Arctic Circle” and “Bullets,” both co-financed by Elisa Vilhde.

Sylvester Stallone talks Rambo 5, No Rest For The Wicked remake. The prospect of Rambo 5 has been discussed for years since Rambo was released and was profitable. Many story lines have been bandied about but now two things may have been settled upon: 1.) that Rambo will be killed off in Rambo 5, and 2.) the setting for the film will be Arizona.
Here is what Sylvester Stallone said about Rambo 5 in a recent interview:
“I’m dying to do another ‘Rambo.’ He’s in Arizona on the border. It will involve him going into Mexico. I don’t think Rambo likes Mexicans,” he said. At any rate, if “Rambo 5″ does get made, it will be the last one he stars in. Asked point blank if he’ll kill off the character, Sly says: “Yeah.”

I'm only just now catching up with this year's edition of De Filmkrant's best-known project, Slow Criticism 2012, for which editor Dana Linssen has invented a new game: "It is called The Other Side(s) of the World and includes a lot of cinephile Wanderlust and cybernetic travel schedules. Playing along were film critics from all over the world who embarked on a virtual journey to see a film that came from a country or film culture that was as far from their current location as possible.
