- TriviaThere is no explicit date given for the events in the series, other than it being presented as contemporary drama. However, in this episode a character reads a letter that they've prepared, and it is dated 26th April 2023. Interestingly, the series dropped for streaming on 27th March 2023, and this episode was later, first broadcast on 24th April 2023. Strictly speaking it could be argued that that makes this show science-fiction.

Tommy has to give evidence at The Coroner's court concerning the person that died as he tried to give CPR, he also has the stress of his fire training exam brought forward. Mo's deal for firearms begins, with his father fully aware of his betrayal.
We're never allowed to say the Q word at work, you just know as soon as someone says it, things will kick off.
After episode four, my expectations for this show have grown quite a lot, I had big expectations....it did not disappoint.
It is yet another terrific episode, it really does take us into what will hopefully be an explosive finale. We learn so much here, who's involved etc. They managed to cram a lot of content in here, but it's cohesive, it flows remarkably well.
Once again, every single character is well used, Tommy perhaps had the bulk of the focus, but it was so nice to see more from Jen. Gerry seems to bring out the best in everyone, he certainly had a positive effect on Jen, I think he's become my favourite character.
Martin McCann has really impressed as Stevie, I thought Hannah McClean was great as Jen.
9/10.
