The Laws of Physics...If You Know What I Mean!
Hitchcoc7 October 2021
Sheldon is excited when a major physicist comes to check out the University. She chooses to stay at the guy's apartment. Sheldon goes bananas over a female staying there. It turns out, however, that she is a nymphomaniac and Leonard, Howard, and Raj are fair game. She is a cutie and, of course, Leonard is an easy mark. We are made to guess about the rest. Very funny.

The Spaghetti Catalyst (#3.21)

Warning: Spoilers
The nymphomaniac professor is a very fun idea. The best part of this episode though was Sheldon preparing his apartment for her. Getting maxi pads and scented candles. So thoughtful. It would actually be funny if she would hit on him as well. Why not? She seems to love all men and his reaction to it would be funny.

"The Plimpton Stimulation" was a funny sexually-charged ep of "The Big Bang Theory"
tavm30 March 2011
Warning: Spoilers
In this ep of last season's "The Big Bang Theory": Sheldon has informed Leonard (per a roommate's written agreement) that a Dr. Elizabeth Plimpton (Judy Greer) is staying at their apartment. Leonard's excited since he's such a fan of her book. When she arrives, she turns out to be interested in Leonard as well...in more than one way. When Penny finds out, she's not too gratified despite her and Leonard's recent breakup. Oh, and it turns out Dr. Plimpton has an interest in Raj and Howard as well...This was another hilarious ep of "TBBT" especially with all the sexual innuendo concerning Ms. Greer who's such a sexy and funny presence not only here but other shows and movies I've seen her in. Hope her new series "Mad Love" does well. Anyway, that's a high recommendation of "The Plimpton Stimulation".

After watching "Oppenheimer" this episode makes all sense
briguilim2000-264-4267037 January 2024
Warning: Spoilers
Well, i just watched "Oppenheimer" yesterday. I was enrolled in a Math /Physics dual degree a couple decades ago.

Our hero was Richard Feymann (also the author of the 1st volume of our undergrad Physics we were studing in).

Because of the book "Are you kidding ,Professor Feymann"(a series of tales where he tell funny stories about his past as a teacher and researcher, including happening facts during the Manhattan Project period in which most of the movie "Oppenheimer" was based in).

Anyway, the great issue for any Math /Phisucs student was :"We are nerds;we are not physically gifted;we are awkardly weird folks; we can not get chicks".

Don't say it wasn't the main "nerd mindset" during the late 90's because i 'll assume you were the kind of person that paid a nerd to make your homework(or bullied one for this propose).

So, a decades later , watching a "renowed"(fictionally at least) physicist being "horny as a 'Two and half man' character " would be just an acceptable gymick that the author and producer of both shows would use oftenly just to pick the same audience attention.

But then Barbieheimer happened. I hurried to watch Barbie at the time.(wasn't in the mood to watch a dramtic movie at the time) .

And 3 months later i watched the Nolan movie(that was respected not just by his cinematography but also for the accuracy to all dillemas professor Oppenheimer experienced on that period).

And,folks, Robert O. Was a real overexcited guy!

Really!

Also,my hero, professor Feymann, (according to other articles i've foubd on internet) also became a famous womanizer decades later the Manhattan project was over(after he became widowed).

So...PHYSICS IS SEX.

Ironic ,right?

And we can not condemn mr "Chaim Levine" to force this situation in TBBT.

The Plimpton Stimulation
studioAT30 August 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Chaos ensues when a nymphomaniac physicist visiting Sheldon hooks up with Leonard.

There's lots of good moments here, with Sheldon being on the right side of quirky. Jim Parsons plays him to such perfection that it does feel like 'The Sheldon Show' at times.

The ongoing Leonard/Penny split is being well written and played too. For the good of the show moving forward they really had to break up, happy couples in sitcoms just aren't funny.

All the characters get their chance to shine, and the dialogue is sharp throughout.

It is another episode that fades away a little at the end, but has more than enough moments overall for it to be one of the better 3rd series outings for 'The Big Bang Theory'.

A bit mellow compared to the others...
nymphqueen_12411 May 2010
Warning: Spoilers
I've been repeatedly watching the series episodes over and over. You can say I'm a big fan of the series. But this episode was, in my opinion a bit mellow compared to the other episodes. The show started with Raj sneezing and Sheldon usual germaphobe attitude. Sheldon mentioned his lady friend is coming over and staying at their house for a few days. Turns out Leonard's a big fan of this lady friend, Dr. Elizabeth Plimpton.

As the episode progresses we come to realize that Elizabeth is a very promiscuous woman. After a night with Leonard she moved on to Raj and Howard, whose fortunate timing was invited to a threesome. And Leonard's arrival turned into an invitation to a foursome.

Well, there are some, and I meant little, funny moments. I don't know why but all the actors acting seemed a bit weird. Like there was a fight off-screen and it was not resolve or something. Oh well, I still love the show and as always "GO TEAM SHELDON"
