Vrije Val is based on a true story, experienced and written by Karel Hamm. There has not (yet) been a book published for this movie, but a picture book is expected to was released during the coarse of 2010.
The script was available for public download, but only in the Dutch language. It might possibly be available for download on Martin Beek's website. Otherwise, it might be possible to find out how to obtain it through Beek's Twitter.
No, the plot of the movie is not spoiled in the trailer.
Four Dutch actresses were considered and contacted for playing The Girl: Bracha van Doesburgh, Gigi Ravelli, Aukje van Ginneken and Victoria Koblenko. Victoria and Aukje immediately responded enthusiastically to our philosophy and the non-profit character of the movie. Aukje was eventually chosen for the part because of the perfect match of character with leading actor Erik Rooseboom.

Yes. Erik was not a professional actor, but he is a gifted and charismatic musician. His presence on stage hinted on his hidden acting talent, so he was asked to audition for Vrije Val. Together with Aukje van Ginneken, he proved to be a perfect match.
Yes. The band is called RoodWitBlauw and they play all songs from the movie live on stage.
