  Dr. Jackson Avery : [looks at Cristina]  April, in the OR behind there are two OR nurses and an anesthesiologist. Get them. Tell them to set up for a cardiac procedure.

  Dr. April Kepner : What... what why? If we don't have a surgeon, what are we going to do?

  Dr. Jackson Avery : [looks at Cristina]  We have a surgeon.

  Dr. April Kepner : Who's going to operate on Dr. Shepherd?

  Dr. Cristina Yang : I am.

• Dr. Jackson Avery : [about Mr. Clark]  Raise your hands. Trust me, raise your hands. He's going to shoot again, raise your hands!

  Dr. Cristina Yang : I'm... I'm stopping, I'm stopping.

  Dr. Cristina Yang : [to Mr. Clark]  See? I've stopped.

  Dr. Meredith Grey : [sobbing]  Please don't stop!

  Dr. Jackson Avery : [to Meredith]  Shut up!

  [Derek's monitor flatlines] 

  Dr. Meredith Grey : No, Derek! No, no, no.

  Dr. Cristina Yang : [to Mr. Clark]  See? It's over. It's over, he's dead. It's over.

  [Meredith drops to her knees, sobbing and Gary walks out of the operating room. Jackson reattaches the monitor lines to Derek] 

• Dr. Owen Hunt : [when Gary Clark has a gun at Cristina's head]  Hey! That is the woman I love. If you shoot her, if you touch her, then I will kill you!

  Gary Clark : [points the gun at Owen]  And I said stay back! Or maybe I shoot you first. I shoot you and then I shoot her and then I shoot Shepherd. Is that what you want?

  [Owen shakes his head] 

  Gary Clark : I didn't come here for this. My wife is dead. He's responsible. I came here for justice. An eye for an eye. The only person I want in this room is Shepherd. Now back off!

  [points gun back at Cristina] 

  Dr. Cristina Yang : Please...

  Dr. Meredith Grey : [walks in the OR]  Shoot me.

  Dr. Cristina Yang : Meredith...

  Dr. Meredith Grey : You want justice, right? Your wife died, I know what happened. Derek told me the story. Lexie Grey is the one that pulled the plug on your wife, she's my sister. Dr. Webber, he was your wife's doctor. I'm the closest thing he has to a daughter and the man on the table, I'm his wife. If you wanna hurt them, the way that you hurt, shoot me. I'm your eye for an eye.

  Dr. Cristina Yang : Meredith.

  [Gary points his gun at Meredith and walks towards her] 

  Dr. Meredith Grey : [to Cristina]  You tell Derek that I love him and that I'm sorry.

  Dr. Cristina Yang : Meredith... Wait! Wait, wait, wait... She's pregnant. You wouldn't shoot a woman who's pregnant? Please.

  [Owen charges Gary and Gary shoots Owen] 

• Dr. Derek Shepherd : Get out of here, Meredith before he shoots you.

  Dr. Meredith Grey : Do not die. Do you understand? I can't live without you. If you die, I die.

  Dr. Cristina Yang : I called the police.

  Dr. Meredith Grey : Oh, good, they're coming.
