A decent show .. good story line ,,, respected acting .

The plot of the show is harmonious coherent ,, I only have one criticize , which is that they passed the case of the "baba" illness with dementia at the end of the first season .

Baba's character is so annoying

Too many "Baba" families with various problems, only add to the length of the episode without sufficient quality. What's confusing is who the main actor in this story is not clear, if it's Kadir he doesn't have enough ability to deal with the chaos caused by the author. Actually a lot of quality players here but with a chaotic storyline, their talent is wasted. What's frustrating is that everyone is easily controlled by Baba and Ilhan...

Family

Baba is the series that suitable for all audiences, The story of a father who rule the family. A loving mother. A brother who protected her sister to not get hurt by anyone. A sister who care for her brother. They maybe not a perfect family but if problem arise, they have each other..

Tolga brings success

Every work Tolga is involved in males it unique. His charisma is outstanding and one of a kind and it shows in his acting, moves, voice and figure. The cast with him is a good one too but preferably not to make a crowd. Good to have a dominant character comes or shows at a time. The title and story are without a doubt much wanted at these difficult times. It would be good to show talents of Tolga in this work such as his singing( his voice is a killer) and his passion. We can not forget how passionate he was in Gunesin Kizlari, Soz, Ferhat il Sirin and Ariza.... unmatched capabilities are there in Tolga that symbolises each role so efficiently. We seek his continuous work, never stop in dazzling us and all audience around the world, perhaps if we can see season 2 and more in Baba.

Theme: Bad people are smart, good people are incredibly stupid.

Up to Season 2 episode 24: Bad people ALWAYS win in this series. I seriously question the character and morals of the writers and director of this series. It's seriously not normal. How many men are working there and how few are the controllers/abusers...they can easily be overpowered, locked up so no one will ever find them. Why are they so spineless?

Old review: This series looks promising. Everything Tolga Saritas stars in is good...he makes everything good...such a brilliant, soulful actor. I just wish they starred Özge Yagiz (Busra) as his love interest and not Beril Pozam (Sevil). Kadir and Busra has a lot of chemistry and it would be more credible. They don't fit as bother and sister. Beril is an excellent actress but doesn't have chemistry with Tolga. Anyhow, I'm looking forward to the development of this story. Hakan Kurtas (Ilhan) always plays the vilain very well.

Episode 5 and the series is already starting to lose credibility..."everyone is bad" and trying to distort the now rich family. It's a bit too much.

Episode 10/11 The explosion....now all seriousness /credibility is gone. Clearly the creators of this series didn't do their research on the devastation an explosion leaves. Fortunately the paramedics didn't have to struggle with the dead, torn off limbs, blood and embedded shrapnel as the most seriously injured in this explosion is Elif with a cut brow...lol. The guy in the middle of the explosion actually got up and walked out with Kadir, no blood just dust on his face...seriously? Were you just lazy or didn't have a make-up artist to recreate injuries? At least don't let everyone run out of the building uninjured. I was really hopeful for this series.... I'll keep watching just because of Tolga Saritas and Hakan Kurtas.

Must be honest, I was looking forward to season 2...what a disappointment. Episode after episode about an old man with Alzheimers running away and Busra and Ilhan having the same conversation over and over. There is no meat to the story...them trying to win back their business for instance. Just loss after loss after loss. No wins for this, beyond miserable family. Now I'm done watching. You've wasted Tolga's talent in this stupid series that actually had so much potential to be very interesting if the writers just stuck to the storyline in season 1. They have clearly run out of ideas.

It's a great series with a great storyline. Suitable for every age group audience. Tolga and ozge's acting is so good and the person who plays Father's role just perfect. I personally love to watch further more episodes of this awesome series. Please don't end this great series so soon.

Season 2 Baba

Season 2 is such a disappointment ,season 1 was so exciting what happened to the writers seems like they lost the plot ,its deathly boring ,no spark .what are the producers thinking they took such an amazing play and are fast flushing it down the toilette. It also have such massive disconnects ,like ilhan n busra.the fathers character was so interesting and now just a waste. Served again is a unrealistic character out of touch with his own reality. The whole season 2 is completely a new play and does not have any connection with season 1 which was amazing.please my request to the managing team would be to either return to the original writers or scrape the show .

What a Hidden Jewel

Baba is not the regular popular show. At beginnign I didn't start watching it, but I decided to give it a try, and what a surprise. I love the storyline so far, specially Ilhan and Busra love. Hakan Kurtas play a masterful character, he deserves an award.

Good acting, decent directing... except

Not a bad story. Interesting to watch. But the religion is exaggerated in almost every scene. You have to slow down a little. Don't sell the religion, just sell good series. Allah allah!!!

Now, started watching the season 2, episodes 16-17 and extremely disappointed. Story is different but weak, directing is all over the place and confusing and the actors are also confused. 30 second episodes are 2.5 hours and 80% is unnecessary. You can tell that from script writer to director and to the actors there is a huge confusion. Hope they will pick it up to make a better series, otherwise it is going to be very boring. It is sad to see that good actors and actresses are being wasted.

I like and live in this series, it's a different taste of something that you cannot reject. Storyline is the most amazing taste. Talented and handsome Tolga Saritas and Hakan Kurtas show endless capacity of their talents. Baba, Halul Bilginer represents the role of brave and kind father of a traditional family. He is very much successful in this drama and should be nominated for an award. I love this series as a whole.

Watched it just for ilhan & busra , rather than that nope . Kadirs partners changed three times and don't get me started on the second season . Given that the app isn't letting me post this short review which to me sums up the whole thing, i will also add that at some point they lost the meaning of the main storyline so I skipped aa lottt. To me it's saddd that they ruined a show with this kind of cast with some of the best actors in Turkey. And the last thing I want to mention is that they didn't provide us with a explanation about how the partners of the main lead changed , the second season is as thou its a new series . #ilbus.

Ilhan and Busra show the greatness of Hakan Kurtas and Ozge Yagiz

I started this show for Haluk and Tolga. I was worried about the chemistry Ozge and Hakan would have. I was wrong. I am obsessed with Ilhan and Busra. They are the heartbeat of the show. Their chemistry is so potent that mere eye contact conveys the innocence of first love. I am loving the character growth of both Ilhan and Busra. Hakan Kurtas is the best actor. I will watch anything with him. The writers of Baba also keep us going. Best Turkish dizi of 2022. 5 stars.

Unique story of a traditional family

I give this 5 stars because I have watched a lot of Dizis but haven't seen anything quite like Baba. The acting is phenomenal! The episodes are suspenseful and keep your attention from start to finish. The plots are not predictable. Characters change over time and are flawed; the good guys become bad guys and vice-versa. I love the way it portrays a traditional and religious Turkish family.

I think this series is one of the best I have watched so far, not only the acting is good but the story line is very well thought, full of intrigues and twists, I can not wait for the second season to come.

Tolga is my favorite actor

Tolga Saritas is very talented and professional actor he deserves better than this place he deserves to act with a Hollywood stars and haluk too they should be in better place with professional skills actor I'm sorry I don't like hakan acting he is very boring I can't watch his scenes and tolga and haluk are my favorite and I'm still watching because of these two legendary actors tolga and Haluk I'm enjoying tolga and haluk only I will be watching the second season because of them they deserve more audience and high and talented director and professional writer. I hope that tolga will receive an award for his hard work.

I Enjoyed it. Especially ilhan character development. And the love story of ilhan and Busra. I hope to see them in another project. I finished in one ago normally i never finish series i always drop after the first 10 episodes but "Baba" was one of the few series that i finished it all. Its really underrated and underappreciated all the actors did amazing in portraying their characters and the character development of Busra from naive girl to strong independent woman i loved her character development. Busra and Ilhan were for me the highlights of this series both their characters development and love story was amazing. I hope to see them together on the screen in the near future.

Love watching this series I think they need to advertise it more in all different platform of social media so a lot of people can watch it around the world. Love the story about family, love, hardship and how they overcome it all. How I wish they didn't end the series so soon. I hope you guys can make good series like this again with this beautiful and talented actors. All of them they did a great job. Mostly Baba, Khadir , love the romance bloom with Busra(Ozge Yagiz) & ILhan (Hakan Kurtas ) they did an excellent job their chemistry is so good. I hope you guys can give them a new projects together. They bring the best of each other in every scenes they make. Bravo.

Servet ruined the whole seires

The writers and director, and producers choice to have Servet's character was an epic bad choice. Not only his character, but the actor who played him. He had one expression the whole movies which was so annoying, the evil eye. Looking under his forehead with piercing eyes. Was almost comical. It was so so annoying. Ruined the whole series for me. Hopefully they will learn from their mistakes. The second season was a disaster . So many Turkish series have such poor writers they change in season 2 and are a waste of time. Maybe instead of making such long episodes they should focus on quality and not overwork the actors and crew.
