Death and Death
Hitchcoc15 March 2021
Two victims. The first appears to be trying to escape a pursuer and runs into a mountain lion. This leads to a complicated psychological investigation which includes a visit to Lady Heather who is now a bonafide psychologist. It also involves a unique kind of animal. The second, a more conventional story, has at its roots the evils that kids can do to other kids on social media. A pregnant teenager finds she has been singled out by the popular girls. She ends up dead.

Two Stories: One Fair, One Good
ccthemovieman-119 March 2012
Warning: Spoilers
There are two stories in this episode, both involving women who were killed One is a little too far out (what episode with the infamous "Lady Heather" isn't?) while the other one turned out to be topical and something teens can relate to in this Internet and texting age.

The first story has women acting like cats, crawling on all fours and hissing. Nuff said.

The second story has a teen hanging in her closet. It looks like an obvious suicide, but is it? To "Nick" and ME "Doc Robbins," who discover the girl after a frantic neighbor leads them there, the real shock is that the dead woman has an eight-and-a-half month baby in her abdomen. Can the baby be saved? Well, with "Doc" there, the answer is "Yes." Nick is totally impressed and tells Doc later was a "good man" he is.

This story was the much better story of the two and made the viewing worthwhile.

The Cat and the Baby

A woman crawls through the woods and stumbles upon a cougar. Her body is found by a hiker that calls the police. Langston arrive to investigate to investigate the crime scene. Soon she is identified as the social worker Iona Vail, who worked in a shelter for abused women. Sara interviews Debra, who worked with Iona at the shelter, and she learns that she had quit her job six weeks ago when she broke up with her boyfriend. Sara brings a box with Iona's belongings to the office and finds that she was client of Lady Heather, a.k.a. Dr. Kessler. Meanwhile, Nick and Dr. Robbins are heading to the office, when a man asks for help, telling them that she saw a dead girl through a window. They break in the house, and finds a pregnant young woman hanged in her room. Dr. Robbins finds that the fetus is still moving and saves the baby. They identify the woman as the seventeen-year-old Maria Diori and evidences that she had struggled before her death. Her boyfriend becomes the prime suspect.

"Unleashed" is an episode of "CSI" with two interesting stories. The return of Lady Heather is always with weird segment, and this one in no exception. Impressive the existence of sick people behaving like a cat as shown in this plot. The other segment shows the danger of misuse of Internet, destroying the life of a young woman. The conclusion, with the consultation of Ray Langston to Dr. Kessler, indicates how will probably be the next encounter of the CSI with Nate Haskell. My vote is seven.
