C'mon guys, It's funny, just laugh
jwguitard20 September 2012
Sometimes I have to watch an AD episode a few times before I make my opinion on it. After seeing this episode many times now, I laugh harder than I did when I first saw it. The Stan/Priest at camp flashback makes me laugh all the time.

There might be some 'weird' episodes, but never a 'laugh-less' one.

I prefer American Dad over Family Guy, which used to be my favorite show but I feel FG took a turn for the worst after the 7th season and is trying way too hard to be shock-funny. It's damn near embarrassing.

American Dad, as of now, is still my fav. adult cartoon. So far so great!

The One Where Stan Opens A Restaurant...
taylorkingston9 September 2014
Warning: Spoilers
I think this episode is great, I really do. It's about Stan opening a restaurant, obviously, as you could tell by the episode title and my review title. After complaining about a meal he and Francine had on a night out, Stan tells her how he found happiness at a restaurant called Johnson's, after his Dad left. And he's been unsatisfied ever since he left. Francine convinces Stan to make his own dream of a restaurant. And tells him that he should make it just like Johnson's. But Stan is reluctant to the idea. Roger offers to help Stan live his dream. Their first step is to get a bank loan. But the loan officer hesitates to give Stan the money. Roger eventually convinces them and they prepare to open. But Roger turns the restaurant into what he wants, instead of what Stan wants. And when Stan complains, Roger tells him that the bank loan is in his name and that Roger controls everything. So Stan leaves that business and gets a loan from Francine's parents. And the restaurants are right next door to each other. Stan's business is slow at first until they find out Roger pranked their sign claiming the cooks have AIDS. Eventually, Stan makes a plan and his restaurant becomes successful, causing Roger to close down his. Then Roger sets fire to Stan's restaurant as pay back. But it also burns down Rogers'. Overall, I give this episode a 9 out of 10.
