Very Powerful

One of the best episodes of the show. I was genuinely emotional during the final reckoning with Envy where the true nature of his jealousy is revealed. Such an incredible piece of art!

The Best of Brotherhood

Warning: Spoilers
Roy vs. Envy is a display at how revenge can consume someone like a raging fire, quite literally in Mustang's case. Hawkeye and Envy get their peaks in this episode as well as Roy Mustang, obviously. This episode felt brutal and made you feel for Envy and made you feel like Roy Mustang was justified but shouldn't go down the route he was going. This episode is fantastic and really just goes to show how much of a masterpiece Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood really is.

The best episode in the show

Warning: Spoilers
Envy is one of the most hateful, sadistic, despicable, and downright pure evil villains I've ever seen. The entire show your just desperately rooting for them to die in the most painful and karmic way possible. When Mustang finally confronts Envy, that's what I thought was about to happen, only for the show to completely flip things around. Envy's death is not cathartic at all, and rather manages to be highly disturbing. You watch as Mustang steadily loses himself in his pure hatred and need for revenge, creating some truly unsettling visuals of the hatred in his eyes as he incinerates envy over and over again. And just when it's about to come to a head, the other characters have to come in and save him from himself in a very tense scene where he seems like he might be on the brink of killing his own friends to satisfy his revenge, and is just barely brought back from the brink. The relief is then cut short as envy undergoes a full breakdown as the humans they have put down throughout the entire show prove themselves to be capable of much reason and compassion than they ever gave credit for. As envy reveals the truth of their own name and tearfully crushes their own philosopher's stone it is an astonishingly somber and quiet moment. This show forever earned my respect as it took the death of one of the most hated characters and manage to generate some genuine sympathy for them in their final moments. This is the true core of why I adore this show. It also helps that later in the episode Major Armstrong pulls off one of the most incredible and badass moves I've ever seen in the fight against sloth, just to prove how versatile the show can be as well

One of the most satisfying scene off all

Warning: Spoilers
Roy burning envy is a scene that looks satisfying but also shows how the need of revenge can destroy you.

The voice acting is on another level here specially the Roy voice actor.

This last core of episodes is the best of all.

Emotional

Warning: Spoilers
This episode is emotionally broken, the ideia of Roy Mustang get losing in revenge is so well executed. And the resolution is amazing.

The voice acting was on point, the animation is great and this is probably the best episode so far.
