The news from India clearly upsets Sunil. We watch him glued to his transistor radio trying to listen about the floods that have devastated the area where his parents were from. He arrives to see Paul in that state of mind. He is worried about this turn of events. Sunil feels trapped, he cannot do much to help the victims of this tragedy being so far away.

The situation at Arun's house has become unbearable. Paul suggests moving into a place of his own, something that Sunil tells him it will not be possible. Arun has made a promise to support him in his adoptive country; his son will never allow him to go back, which in a way, is a bit cruel on his part. The uprooting of this man has taken its toll.

Sunil is also upset about the state of affairs with his daughter-in-law Julia. Arun has been absent, attending a medical convention. Ethan comes in the house to pick up Julia. They are going out for dinner. Julia has a nanny that oversees her children's needs, so there is no need for Sunil to get involved with his own grandchildren. As they leave, Sunil hears their laughter, figuring he is the object of their amusement. Later, when they return, Sunil watches them from his window. Ethan kisses Julia good-night, and Julia caresses Ethan's face.

Sunil tells of having another dream. In it, he saw Arun unconscious lying in the street, while a dark female figure appeared as she emerged from a forest at the end of the road. Sunil felt like protecting his son, from this apparition. As Paul is trying to deal with the meaning of the dream, Sunil cannot go because he woke up and cannot tell much more.

At times Sunil does not like to answer Paul and resorts to speaking Bengali. Sunil tells Paul he considered calling him, but the late hour kept him from doing it. The session ends with Sunil asking Paul whether he prays. Dr. Weston is taken aback by the question. Sunil wants his therapist to pray for the rain to stop in India.

Ali Selim directed the episode. Adam Rapp wrote the screenplay. The acting is first rate by Gabriel Byrne and Irrfan Khan. Both actors do excellent work for Mr. Selim.
