Sheldon claims that the appendix is a vestigial organ. Since the early 1900s this was how science looked at the appendix. However, today it is accepted by most immunologists that the appendix is part of a secondary immune system and is a safe haven for beneficial bacteria (or probiotics).
At the dinner when Sheldon makes his first virtual presence, Leonard hands out dinner to everyone and states he is going to eat curry whereas he's seen eating rice. Also Penny is seen not eating Palak-Paneer.
Sheldon has his father's cause of death as S.B.L. It was said on Young Sheldon (2017): A New Home and a Traditional Texas Torture (2024) that George Sr. had a heart attack. S.B.L. is not an abbreviation for that nor any other medical issues. The abbreviation for heart attack is MI for myocardial infarction.
Sheldon is wearing the same clothing as the clothing that is being hung from a clothes hanger on his virtual presence device. However, it would be in keeping with Sheldon's character to ensure that the device is wearing the same clothes as him and he may thus have purchased duplicate clothing.
About 11 minutes in, when Sheldon - in his mobile virtual presence device - tells Penny to move from his spot on the couch, he moves to the couch and rotates his monitor. As the screen rotates past the cameras, some equipment and/or crew are briefly visible in the reflection.
When Sheldon is listing the possible health issues at about 6 minutes, 15 seconds then Leonard asks Sheldon has he had his appendix out, Sheldon replies he hasn't. But in Young Sheldon, he does in fact have his appendix removed which he should have remembered since Sheldon has an eidetic memory and can recall any memory, down to the date, time, location and extraneous information.
In the opening sequence, Sheldon's board notes "D-D Fushion" occurring shortly after the year 2150. This, of course, is a misspelling of "fusion" referring to the deuterium-deuterium fusion reaction.
When Leonard drives Sheldon's virtual presence device to the university in the morning, Sheldon greets his Japanese colleague with, "Kon'nichiwa." However, this is Japanese for "Good afternoon." He should have said, "Ohayou gozaimasu."
When Sheldon is greeting his colleagues in the university hallway, and later with Penny in the restaurant, when he is speaking to them as a mobile virtual presence, he moves his eyes and/or turns his head as if he were actually in the room. Up to that time, when speaking to other characters, he simply looks straight ahead. Since it is the camera that should be following the others, Sheldon's eyes should always appear straight ahead on the monitor showing his face, while he views others on his monitor.
Sheldon often claims to have perfect pitch, yet in this episode, he plays "Soft Kitty" in D major, while Penny sings it in Db major-a half step lower.
