On Monday, Sept. 20, NBC premieres the action thriller "Chase," which features Jesse Metcalfe ("Desperate Housewives") as Luke Watson, the newest member of the U.S. Marshals Service's Houston Enforcement & Apprehension Task Force (H.E.A.T.).
"He comes from an affluent family," says Metcalfe of Watson, "and his father's somewhat of a political bigshot, although I don't know specifically what he does. That's why Luke joined the U.S. Marshals Service, to make his father proud, to prove himself to his father, to get out from under his father's shadow."
But before "Chase" launches, fans can see Metcalfe leave politics behind for very different reasons in the Hallmark Channel movie "Fairfield Road," premiering Saturday, Sept. 11.
"I play a character named Noah McManus," Metcalfe says. "He's a political aide to the mayor of Boston. He's very ambitious and also very idealistic, which doesn't survive too well. Quickly, he becomes disenchanted with working for with the mayor of Boston,...
