Production sadly didn't excel

Tenant of the House... We sincerely wanted to have an exhilarating experience with this movie, but very regrettably, the production didn't excel

DELICIOUS

-The village lady Batejo (Rashida Lobbo) and Samuel's brother (Umar Gombe) saved the day with their graceful performance and understanding of their role. They knew how to show the right emotions at the right time

-The movie started on an interesting note with the mischievous house party that triggered our curiosity.

It exposed the dirty hands of politics in order to move an agenda forward, even if that meant destroying lives in the process

-Very nice color grading; loved the orange-teal theme used which worked with the atmosphere depicted

---Costume design did an impeccable work!

BLAND

-The film had so much potential but the storytelling was sadly dry, no climax or mind-blowing moments

The screenplay wasn't engaging, it felt like we were just bystanders. One scene didn't seamlessly lead to another

-The sound design could have been more vigorous to draw attention and turn the movie into a thriller, but alas

-There was so much expectation with Yakubu Mohammed taking the lead role. He has such a handsome presence but failed to take charge of his character. He couldn't deliver the lines properly and wasn't convincing.

Joselyn Dumas was not bad, she could have better played the beautiful yet evil and conniving woman.

Overall, acting was rather weak; the supporting cast could have given a more influential and stronger performance. The politicians, for instance, lacked dynamism in their composure and dialogues

-There was no good control of the camera and the cinematography, consequently, didn't tell us a story.
