Trama

In the second season finale, after spending time with Liam and seeing his bravery in confessing his theft to his parents Annie finds the courage to confess to her parents about her hit and run. Jasper gets jealous over Liam and Annie's new closeness and sets fire to Liam's boat, leading to a fight between Liam and Jasper. Naomi secretly reveals to Ryan that Jen's baby is his, and Ryan who is upset that Jen will not let him be in the baby's life drives drunk and ruins the school sign. Dixon and Ivy go through a rough patch after he tells her about kissing Silver, but the real disappointment comes when he finds out he can't go to Australia with her. Adrianna and Navid have a public reconciliation and Adrianna must make the decision of whether to go on a year long tour with Javier. Silver decides to leave the decision of whether Teddy can handle both a relationship and tennis career up to him, who is upset when he finds out that his father tried to bribe Silver to end the relationship. The episode ends with Naomi being taken advantage of by a certain teacher, and realizes the desperation of the situation because she has already falsely accused him of harassment before.—Anonymous

Liam breaks up with Naomi (again) over her execssive self involvment to notice his problems. Afterwards, Annie confides to Liam about her hit-and-run accident that Jasper Herman's uncle died during the previous year after he confides in her about stealing from his stepfather's coin collection. They both decide to come clean about their seperate crimes even if it results in jail time for both of them. After dropping Annie off at her home, Liam returns to the marina to find his boat on fire and Jasper at the docks, having apparently set fire to it. Liam angrilly attacks Jasper and brutally beats him up just as police and firetrucks arrive (and it is strongly implied that Liam will get arrested for assulting Jasper, and maybe for starting the fire too because of his long juvenile criminal record). At the same time, Annie approaches her parents and begins to confess about the hit and run accident.

After breaking up with Teddy, Silver confides in him about his father attemping to bribe her to break up with him. Teddy is furious about his father's meddling in his personal life, but Silver tells him that she indeed feels that she is a distraction to his tennis career. But later, she and Teddy get back together at the school's annual spring dance when they decide to see where their romance will lead them.

Naomi finds out that Jen is six months pregnant after following her to an OB-GYN office. After looking into her purse, Naomi discovers from a DNA paternity test paper that Ryan Matthews is the father. Naomi annoymously sends Ryan a copy of the test. Ryan confronts Jen at the Beverly Hills Beach Club, but she rudely rejects him for she does not want him in hers or her unborn baby's life. Ryan further goes emotionally downhill and begins drinking even more.

Navid continues to try to win back Adrianna's affections when her music career with Javier continues to blossom. During a live Beverly Beat news teleacast, he proclaims his love for her on-air over the bracelet he left her during her debute with Javier the previous week. Flattered by Navid's revelation, Adrianna takes him back. But a jealous Javier will not go away that easily and he makes Adrianna a once-in-a-lifetime chance to go on a nationwide tour with him. Adrianna accepts, but when Javier tells her that his tour is for a whole year and not the summer, meaning that she will have to drop out of school for a while. Adrianna is left with a big choice on what to do.

Elsewhere, Dixon is making plans to travel to Australia with Ivy and her hippy mother, but Dixon makes the mistake of telling Ivy that he kissed Silver the night before, and she jealously tells him that they are over. Dixon wins Ivy back during the spring dance by putting on a planeteriem show for her and she tells him that if he will wants to come to Australia with them, they leave tonight. But when Dixon returns home, Debbie tells him that he is forbidden to go on his summer trip after she had learned earlier from Harry about Dixon being forced to break into the school as well as his continuing gambling habit.

Earlier, Harry is confronted by the trouble-maker Mark Driscoll whom has figured out that Harry lied to the police and school board about Dixon being forced by Mark and his thugs into break into the school to steal the SAT tests. Harry decides to come clean and goes to the school board with the news how Mark blackmailed Dixon to break into the school and that he covered for his adopted son, unwilling to turn him into the police.

That evening, Harry comes home where he tells Debbie that he was fired as principal of West Beverly High for his involvment in the coverup which prompts another vicious argument between them as Debbie discusses the possible end of their marriage since they have different views for Harry did not want to turn Dixon into the police, while Debbie belives the opposite. While they are fighting, Dixon sneaks out of the house and heads off to the airport to join Ivy to go to Australia (against parental consent).

At the spring dance, Ryan gets even more drunk where he nearly makes a scene and steals a school shuttle bus to drive back to West Beverly, where he gets behind the wheel of his car and accidently smashes the school sign post, but drives away in his damaged and onfire car.

At the same time, Naomi arrives at the school and asks Mr. Miles Cannon if he could give her a ride home since her broken down car is not working. They first have a talk about the events of the year, and suddenly, he attacks her for lying to the school about him sexually harassing her and nearly costing him his job. As he is trying to rape her, Naomi pleads him to stop, but Mr. Cannon refuses and says that since she already told and admitted the lie about him earlier, who would belive her now?

Note: in this off-the-wall twist, Naomi realizes (way too late) that the kind-hearted Mr. Cannon, whom she falsely accused of sexual harassment, really is a sexual predator and a rapist after all.
