Very decent show

Warning: Spoilers
I think that this is a pretty decent show, even though the first-ish part of the movie the girl is trying her absolute hardest to get the dragon to eat her, but during more scenes it actually starts to get pretty good. Overall, I think the first show is not as ridiculous as the title, but I believe it is close to what it says. I would rate the movie around a 6/10 because of the decent-ness of the show but at the same time, goodness of the show. The show would be better if it had more context instead of the girl just straight up going to the dragon, although it has a little backstory of the dragon it would be nice to have a backstory of why he is claimed to be bad. It would also be nice to have a backstory of the girl. I think it is definitely worth watching the entire anime. A good title for the anime might be "Evil is not always what it seems" or something along the lines of that.

Different

I feel like the title perfectly fits this anime more than I had expected it to. Coming up on this piece I really didn't know what to think of it, it was quite peculiar but after watching the first episode everything immediately starts to make sense and you see the connection with the title and the anime. From the fight scenes, to just regular moments in the anime there's always a moment of laughter to be captured. A dragon that's an herbivore and a girl that's insanely delusional, this piece is pretty much backwards from what you would see from your everyday dragon slaying, sacrificial anime shows. Overall it's wholesome and worth watching.

Too much stuff was going on for me to say this was a good show and for the dragon. He was forced into having the girl falling him around when all he wanted to do was stay home and eat plants. And she didn't even know she could do magic in the start of the episode, and now she can do like spells over powered skill at that like she didn't learn any skill from anyone. I just feel like there trying so hard to force the over powered. Other than that i think this show can still recover if it tries had enough in the next few episodes because i would like to have high hope for all anime so i wish this show the best of luck.

I think this is a promising show
naasirbrown7 November 2022
Even though it is a promising show it is confusing. Like in the first scene it just shows a little girl saying she wanted a dragon to eat her with no explanation. The title matches the show though, it is about a herbivorous dragon. I rate this a 4/10 because if how the movie begins and how the beginning has no explanation to it. It also can get a little confusing during the first episode of it. The show would be better if it had a better beginning and explanation. The good part about this anime is it had some laughter and it was delusional, this anime is different from regular dragon anime you would see.

Super confusing, less than amusing.

I honestly didn't understand what happening most of the time. Wasn't that entertaining and lost my attention pretty fast. I believe that a more practical title for this anime would be "Psychotic dragon and dumb kid scare humans and make themselves out to be evil: also the dragon is 5,000 years old." Animation was good, plot was typical. Generally cheesy. Overall a decent show, little informative essentials that would create a structure for the plot. Normally a pilot episode would introduce character, world building, and a slight backstory. This lacked that base that is needed for the general understanding of the show, not engaging enough to keep a viewer engaged for long periods of time. This show seems to be aimed towards a more teenage viewing audience, although due to the themes and other parts put together to create this show, such as the 'chibi' style used in some scenes to represent emotions, this should be a show for kids. In conclusion, I would not recommend this show.

The dragon is a wimp, but the girl on the other hand.

Warning: Spoilers
As i was watching this show, i came to realize the dragon is a wimp. But the girl is powerful. When i had first watched this, it had seemed quite boring. But as i had watched this show some more, it was really good. Only because how funny the dragon was. But to me, the overall plot did not make any sense. Then girl had power all of the sudden. When i had saw that scene, i was like wow, but how did she get power? Then, i also thought that there wasn't enough story line in each episode. Then to me, there wasn't enough characters in the first few episodes. Lastly the anime itself was kind of confusing.

Confusing, Could Have Been Merge Better.

Warning: Spoilers
I think this anime had potential at first and it was catching my eye at one point but it wasn't very interesting for the most part. I think it just didn't make any sense and it wasn't really giving as much information. The designs, animations, etc were very good but as far as the plot, it was very cheesy and corny. Normally, the first episode would start off as backstory, introduction of people, or even a flashback but it didn't. There was nothing for us to understand to build up to the plot of the anime. It just felt like they threw everything together. It wasn't very engaging for a while. You would get interested at first then just lose sight of it in like 5 minutes.

Nothing too amusing.
jaterionbohannon10 November 2022
The first episode was mediocre at best; unentertaining and somewhat disappointing, at worst. I understood very little of what was going on, as well as the contents of the first episode; this dragon awakens, and a girl is suddenly offered up to be used as a sacrifice? Not only is it underwhelming, but it's also not what you'd expect from an anime of its title. The villagefolk are too willing to offer the girl up - it would've been expected for them to have at least put up some sort of fight to keep the girl with them. Not only that; the dragon is too cowardly for being 5,000 years old, which cancels out the ideology of the dragon's myth.
