In Palm Springs, Martyn and Kathryn are at the Colony Palms Hotel, and as he scrambles to complete the hotel's presidential suite, she lounges by the pool basking in the sunshine. Meanwhile, close friends Mary and Nathan fly to North Carolina for the High Point Furniture Market.

Sharon Osbourne presents Martyn with The Andrew Martin 2010 International Interior Designer of the Year Award, one of the top honors in the design world. Jeffrey and Ross run into a scheduling mishap that threatens to derail the completion of the Malibu restaurant they're designing. Meanwhile, Mary tackles the design of the grand entryway to the L.A. Antiques Show, one of the most prestigious design events in Los Angeles, and all the decorators come out to support her.
