oh she's a smart and dirty girl
bluespectralmonkey19 July 2022
Nikki is on top right now. Sure, she's got a crazy vag, and, really, don't we all?

Her just brutal honesty and timing nails the aesthetic. It's like candy comedy, i'd get cavities eating her.

Tight jabs and wit, some great reacharounds, both verbally and in demonstrations.

Killer boots and just fierce, relevant, empowering women and sex positivtiy and human nature and mating practices exposed to an animal level in pure nikki fashion. Good show. Proud of you, huge congrats on the hbo special.

Best legs in comedy lol.

It's Funny
genious-3541317 July 2022
I've always liked her podcasts/radio show more than the stand-up but Good GOD, stop saying 'like'. You can tell, even from the clip on imdb that it's just difficult to listen to.

The material is good and I like that she can perform her material without yelling the parts that are to get a laugh. Which is something Whitney Cummings and Iliza Schlessinger could learn.

The special is much better than a lot of what has come out recently and is worth a watch.

Good, solid performance after a hiatus.
gina_gemini17 July 2022
I am not even gonna waste time by pointing out that if you're shocked or disgusted by Nikki's routine you can easily move along to something better suited to your taste.

That said, I found this special pleasing. Considering past two years I found it comforting watching Nikki in her familiar territory doing her classic type of material. This was a great start after the hiatus and I am glad we got to enjoy Nikki making fun of her/our 'public parts' one more time.

This one is very adult, but very funny
tkdlifemagazine22 July 2022
This is exactly what I expected from Nikki Glaser and it is very funny. This is dirty and cringe worthy at some point but she does a great job of engaging the audience and making the time fly by. The visuals and Direction are are outstanding for a one person stand up special.

rough but funny.

Hilarious! I've heard her on sirius xm, on raw dog comedy channel. She's awesome! A one hour standup show, now on hbo channel. It gets pretty weird, so you can't take her too seriously. And definitely not for the young ones! Lots of brutally honest talk about sex, so be prepared ! Funny stuff.

Funny, smutty

The dirtiest stand-up since Andrew Dice Clay. We laughed very hard. Gross? Sure. Funny. Definitely. One bad political joke and lots of vagina stuff. Watch this.

Love Nikki, but not this time.
thehorsts28 July 2022
Nikki is very talented. Much more talented than this special.

Have been seeing her in clubs for over a decade. But she really, really, really needs to drop all this sex stuff. It's simply does not reflect her full talent. And it's going to be hugely limiting for her in the long run.

Hopefully, this special will define the apex of her all-sex topics and she'll move onto broader material.

Disgustingly Funny
jasonjamesdixon18 July 2022
This is what I needed after so long listening to people whine about lock downs and me being a introvert this is way better then any locker room banter or guys sitting around telling jokes .

Nikki and the few like her pushing and breaking barriers today of long needed change or rather the need of the time. Telling jokes no man could get away with.

Did not laugh once
terrytyner-7533129 July 2022
I really like Nikki. Would normally put her in my top 5 female comedians. But after this special she is dropping off my top 5 list. It's simply not funny. I feel bad for her, since in the comedy world you are only as good as your last show. I will certainly give her another chance if she gets another special, but I won't be recommending this show to any friends.

Darling Nikki Truthfully Raw
clg198321 July 2022
Nikki takes her sexual ideology to raw levels that is in a class very few female comediennes dare to go. She is a pioneer in blonde girl filth humor. Kudos to her for being so bold and holding it down this long with all the haters. Always enjoy her perspective & sexual truthful insight.

I think she's better than this.
NullUnit25 July 2022
This special seems to focus more on trying to create some "shock value" via adult-oriented content than any actual laughter from an audience. Occasionally she MAY throw a final sentence after a 5 minute diatribe to try and elicit a laugh, but it's clearly an afterthought.

There's really not a great deal of humor in this special. I've seen her do MUCH MUCH funnier shows.

It's as if she specifically picked 5-6 topics that would be very adult oriented and which may make some audiences uncomfortable. I get that.. art is supposed to elicit a response.. in this case, it seems the response desired was an uneasy feeling, not laughter. Sure people may chuckle oddly when uncomfortable, but that's a far cry different than laughing because something is humorous.

I mean, what sane person thinks oral sex with their parents is funny??? And why on Earth would ANY comedian write a bit based upon that premise simply so they could throw in a bad pun in 4 words at the end??? Really? Come on, Nikki. Do better. Are you going to do a 10 minute bit about beastiality next so you can merely throw in "it was doggone good" at the end???

Merely working "blue" for the sake of working blue is pointless .. ya have to write JOKES, not just say words associated anatomy and sex. Why Nikki thinks it's her job to teach everyone about anal sex (without jokes) is a mystery to me.

I honesty think at this point, she's painting herself into a corner... she got a bit better "known" for being open about liking anal sex... mostly due to that 1/2 hr show she had... that causes some people to perceive her as a dirty comedian... so she's banking on that carrying her further. If this special is any indicator, it's not going to.

Oh, and using the pink microphone so it simulates a male appendage.. yeah .. I spotted that as well. Cheap tricks if ya ain't got jokes...

Write a clean hour Nikki.... prove you know how to write jokes.. not just say "vagina" repeatedly.

Maybe I just didn't "get" this one. I wasn't offended or put off by any of the content.... I just didn't see any real laughs to be had.

just as expected
Bill-41218 July 2022
This is the usual second-concert problem: Ten years of material to do the first concert, only a fraction of that to do the second. So the content is extremely thin, it's much much less funny, and there are too many meta jokes about what it's like now to be rich and famous. Who needs that? Who finds Amy Schumer tolerable at all any more?

Plus, the limitations of jokes about extreme sex are again obvious here. When it's "I need to top what I said before," the comments are so narrow and bizarre that it's not close to being funny. Eating out your mother? In the first minute? Imagine the third-concert, if anyone will pay for it to happen.

Too bad, because she has some talent in timing and delivery. But it would be smart to develop new lines of content. You've long ago exhausted the gutter material. Time for a re-design. Move on.

Raw comedy, decent laughs
fantomas6418 July 2022
Warning: Spoilers
This is the first Nikki Glaser stand-up I saw and I was not disappointed. While it did not make me laugh uncontrollably, it was still enjoyable and humorous. The beginning of the show starts off with some incest jokes and sexual scenarios but the level of discomfort is nowhere near comedies like Louis CK's was for me.

I liked how after the first few vagina bits, she mentions that she's aware that most female comedians are mocked for overdoing it by "Reddit philosophers" ... and right when you think she's done with these topics she gets even more raw by talking about her backdoor instead, if you catch my drift. Might not be everybody's cup of tea but it was humorous.

After these light jokes are out of the way, it gets more interesting and this is where she truly shines. Her long drawn out routines, all her "rules," and her quick witted jokes in-between, were my favorite aspects.

The last bit about getting a guy to marry her and the spontaneity of the closing act where she applies her 3 rules made it a solid 8/10.

I am big fan of comedy but this misses the mark
riotstarter-9829818 July 2022
Warning: Spoilers
I liked Nikki in the past but this material is tired and comes off as bitter. It sounds like she is upset she is single so she postures about the dirty type of girl she is like a weird ad to date her. She is upset at men for liking younger women. She is upset at Pete Davidson for dating out of his league. It is just pure sadness and if she doesn't get married or have a kid soon she is going to have no new material. I can't listen to another special just talking about sex. I like female comedians but I cant listen to the same tired jokes. If you want real good female comedy go watch Kathleen Madigan or Taylor Thomilson. Also another knock on the special she starts it out with an original song sang by her. She isn't a good singer and that was my biggest laugh of the special. Watch it if you must or if there is nothing on but I would avoid it.

Just filth, lacking wit
Valid_ID19 July 2022
Nikki Glaser nailed the filth in "Good Clean Filth", and completely missed the good or clean. Her narrative is just gross, lacking the slightest trace of wit. The material is about the nastiest feminine discharges and anatomical parts, meaning to shock; it's the shock that's supposed to draw attention when the intellect fails.

Starting with her appearance, as an aging stripper with a mini dress barely covering her crotch and exposing ugly wrinkly knees, Nikki Glaser performs as if just filth, without anything smart, would be funny. I can't fathom how anyone would consider this humor, but then I'm reminded that we live in a world where people get offended by the slightest hint at their garbage, but apparently find other people's filthy funny. Yikes!

Oh, Nikki, what happened to you?
ranwulfs29 August 2022
Up until recently she was one of my favorite comedians. While she's not quite Taylor Tomlinson, she had her niche and yes - it was raunchy as hell, but that was her. But this act seems to strike out in new directions, each worse than before. How many jokes about your vagina can you do before it becomes old hat? Is that just going to be her hallmark for the rest of her career? And joking about going down on your parents? In what world or on what planet is that even faintly amusing? Within the first several minutes she passed my tolerance for disgusting. Don't get me wrong: disgusting can be funny, if done right. But she was just uncomfortably disgusting - gross af. If you can get past the first 15 minutes, I think there may be something wrong with you. Poor Nikki, what happened to you?

Truck Stop Comedy Tour
ThatMonkey20 July 2022
I've seen Nikki Glaser on shows and panels for years now and she always struck me as a poorly dressed bad comedian.

For this special, I won't lie, this woman was hotter than a Hawaiian volcano. That said, comedy is not judged on looks. The whole act felt like a really bad Amy Schumer impression, you know back when she had that body.

The act just didn't feel worthy of a special or celebrity. If she was a no name comic in a local club, I'd say she had potential, but to be a nationally televised name, it was a weak performance.

I hope she maintains the look, because I always thought she was attractive, just not living up to that potential and let's be honest, when you are attractive, it helps to hold people's attention when a joke doesn't land.

I dig that she pushes the envelope. I also don't believe her back door is assessable and her show infers, but hey, I'm just a guy that loves comedy, so if you can come up with a better set, I'm happy to give you another chance to impress me.

Nikki Glaser is a hack
caochoadesigns20 July 2022
How much of a special can you make just riffing on pussy jokes or "being a whore" until it becomes clear you have nothing novel to add to comedy. Is she funny? I guess, at times, but only in the banal inward laugh kind of way. Is she original? No.

Any comedian who relies entirely on crotch humor for material is really just going for low hanging fruit. But hey, get your paycheck I guess. I saw no new perspective, no unexpected punchlines, and no real wit or storytelling in this special. There's nothing even "shocking or disgusting" about this special. Just the same old, same old.

In other news, I guess all I can say is, RIP Norm Macdonald.

Better than this if she wants to be
lizolora10 August 2022
I never thought I liked Nikki that much because I thought she was just another version of Amy Schumer. Then I started following her on Instagram and she is consistently interesting and entertaining and has views/experiences/values I resonate with. So I'm always kind of surprised that for her standup material she chooses to go with such superficial topics and double down on being a sex comic. I'm as horny as the next person lol but even I don't want to listen to a one hour special about sex. I'd much rather hear stories and anecdotes from her life since it seems interesting enough and her intelligent enough that there must be plenty of other material. She's hilarious on FBoy island and roasts and I think the world needs to hear her perspective so it's too bad it keeps being diluted into just sex talk.

Gross isn't always funny.
beachlifelinda17 July 2022
I've seen Nikki on Comedy Central Roasts, as a guest with other comedians on other cable specials, and found her humorous and fresh. But this is just bad. I'm no prude, but joked about giving oral sex to your parents isn't even close to being funny. Most of this show felt like bottom of the barrel middle school jokes.

She used to be funny, what happened?
Exorcistus17 July 2022
This time I didn't laugh at all and was only repulsed by her. A couple of years ago I thought she was hilarious and recommended all my friends to watch clips of Nikki's comedy but now she's just gross and unfunny.

This entire show is a red flag. To young girls or parents of young girls, Nikki uses her fame trying to convince girls to do weird sexual stuff that they most likely don't want to do. You're hereby warned.

Not bad just not comedy
qprdfrzv18 July 2022
Nikki is a brilliant & funny woman. She just isn't a standup comedian. This is a monologue on her life without punchlines. This is also open mic quality comedy, not an hbo special. If you thought Brendan Schaub's special was bad wait til you hear these narcissistic musings. Affirmative action comedy is killing the art.

Disgusting.
jtaveras6417 July 2022
If you lack talent for humor and you want to make up for it by talking about going down on a parent you really must quit the job and rethink your profession.

That was just disgusting. Could not make it past 15 minutes.

Im open to all sorts of humor but this is just pure trash.

She was funny, what happened.

Pretty painful
cawingcrow19 July 2022
Kind of painful to watch. I made it 18 minutes. It's too bad, because with better material she probably could be funny. Doesn't really shock or gross me out. It's just not funny.

Bad is to positive word ...
agatamar9320 December 2022
Normally I love Nikki's humor, but this... I didn't laugh once, the jokes were so repetitive. Although the subject matter is typical for her, instead of laughing, some of it, if not everything, was too vulgar without any panache. Maybe it was because of the pandemic and the lack of practice of the material in clubs that the whole thing was common, clichéd and uninteresting. In addition, I'm sure that 70% of the material I've heard from her before, for example on the Conan podcast. Once her sense of humor pulled me out of a deep dark emotional hole, so i really hope the next stand up special will be better.
