- Walt is still being seduced by Gus who repeats his earlier proposition but has a surprise for him: a top-of-the-line lab for him to work in. He isn't so sure he wants to get involved. He does have a message for Jesse and Saul, however. Skyler is continuing her affair with her boss but is starting to soften on what Walt has done. Her lawyer gives her some pretty strong advice. Hank meanwhile has turned down the high profile DEA assignment in El Paso in favor of tracking down the RV he thinks may have been used as a meth lab. He's down to his last call but may have the connection he's been looking for. Hank's wife sees a meltdown coming and isn't sure how to handle it.—garykmcd
- In the beginning Walter had given Jesse 7,000 USD to buy a RV, but Jesse blew that up on prostitutes and drugs and expensive champagne in a single night. After the binge, Jesse has only $1400 left to buy the RV. In the end borrowed an RV from Combo, which Jesse & Walter used every time to cook the Meth.
Walter tells Jesse that he had no side deal with Gus to take Jesse's money. Jesse wants his money back and promises to cook more and more Meth in the RV to drive Walter mad.
Walt correctly deduces that Gus tried to lure him back into the business with Jesse's remaining half of his benefits, but still refuses to accept. Gus says that Jesse produced a quality that was consistent with Walter's. Walter says that Jesse is only capable of working under Walter's supervision and can only produce a mediocre product on his own. Walter says Gus would not accept an inferior product and hence he concluded that this was Gus's ploy to appeal to Walter sense of pride in his work and about his formula.
Gus tries to convince Walter for a last time with a high-tech super lab, carefully hidden underneath his laundry factory. The chemicals for the cook come disguised as part of the ingredients delivered regularly to the laundry right above. The filtration system is state of the art and will vent clean steam, just like the rest of the laundry. The target is to produce 200 pounds per week to keep the lab economically viable. Gus says that a man continues to provide for his family even when he is not appreciated for it.
Gomez applies for the role that Hank declined and gets it. He heads to El Paso, Texas and leaves Hank behind to crack the Heisenberg case all by himself. Meanwhile, Hank continues investigating the R.V. and has an argument with Marie, who is concerned for his well-being and worries that he might be lying to her. Marie is glad that Hank is not transferring to El Paso, after what happened there the last time with Tortuga. But she is not able to figure out why Hank would want to stay in Albuquerque.
Marie confides in Skyler, which in turn makes her doubt her new own relationship with Ted. Moreover, Skyler finds Walt's money and starts believing she might patch up things with Walt, as she "didn't marry a criminal". Skyler admits everything to her lawyer. She says that she slept with Ted to force Walter to sign the divorce papers. And she found the money in the house. Skyler says that Walter did what he did for his family. The lawyer tells Skyler to leave, as now she is an accessory after the fact. She is culpable.
In the end, Skyler finds a divorce contract signed by Walt, and finds that he left the house with the bag of money. Walt admits to Saul and Jesse that he has decided to cook Meth again, angering Jesse. Walter returns the cut from Jesse's Meth cook to Jesse and declares that their drug partnership is now over. And now that Walter is cooking for Gus full time, Jesse won't be able to sell his inferior product anywhere. While Jesse is cut out from the deal, Saul makes a deal with Walter to launder the earnings for a 5% cut.
Hank has checked out all 29 RVs and finds nothing. He checks again with the DMV who report one more RV, whose registration was not renewed, but it was also never reported as non-operational or destroyed. This RV belongs to Combo's mother. Hank interviews Combo's mother, who says that the RV was stolen months ago and that she never got around to reporting the theft. She says she did not want Combo arrested. Hank finds a link between Combo (Rodney Rush) and Jesse. Combo was the dealer who worked for Jesse and who was shot by cross town drug rivals, and who owned the R.V.
