For sure storyline is amazing but like every stereotype reel the navigation of the story is bit biased towards the protagonist of the film though it will get balanced in the climax. Near the ending it seems like series lost it originality or we can say it losses its very first touch. Although the actors are amazing especially our protagonist Pavail Gulati, his aggression in the series is unbeatable though it cooled down to the very end which goes natural according to story and human nature both. But I must say conclusion of the story is great not like those feel-good series but harsh. In a nutshell must watch this film.

Anwar Says: A story, you should have patience to watch , a slow- burner and unhurriedly narrated by Ashwiny Iyer Tiwary. A man born into ghetto and desperate to reach top and booming with overconfidence, meets a girl who finds poetry in every situation. They want to live happily but the real world test them at every stage.
Initial episodes tells you the journey of both Abhay and Manjiri , beautifully played by Pavail Gulati and Sayami Kher, but later episodes take you to the desperation of Abhay only . Manjiri contributes to his initial metamorphosis but finally exits. Abhilash Thapliyal , the alcoholic brother is a character, you would feel like loving and caring.

Faadu-a love story is a romantic series directed by ashwiny iyer tiwari.
This series is poetry in motion. Lines are incorporated in this series' folds and breaths. That's what makes it imperfect and beautiful.
Pavail gulati and saiyami kher share an affectionate chemistry between them. They compliment each other really well. Abhay has the fire in him and manjiri is the river that cools him. Pavail gulati has given a standout performance this time, he has the vulnerability and also the restlessness of a dream. Manjiri wants a simple life, she wants to live through a poetic life. Abhilash thapliyal too packs a solid punch. Girish oak, daya shankar pandey, shishir sharma do the required. The performances are commendable.
The screenplay is a life journey. Various characters cone and go. Not everyone is worth remembering though. The arc of ratan kinkhabwala is an interesting one, while that of anant udeshi is not so much. A gangster with a soft conscience is much more interesting than the corporate mundane business. The episodes at the fag end do stretch the series a bit. It had to be edited in a better manner.
The music in this series is fabulous. Saath is soothing with some fantastic words. Mushkilein too is a wonderful addition to jazz aura. The bgm consists of strings being heavily used and it conveys the poetry beautifully. Santhosh narayanan has created a beautiful music score.
The cinematography successfully builds up the class differences. It romanticizes slum and also villainizes it at the same time keeping a n equilibrium. The philosophy is clear. In the quest of monetary success, one fails to differentiate the power of money buying things and the power of money buying you.

For me, it was a great experience. After a long time saw such a beautifully written series. Almost every character has been written very well, and have also been put on the screen very well. So all praise goes to the writer and director. The work of all the artists is also wonderful. The dialogue writing of every character is also praiseworthy and Faadu.

This is one of the few series which you'll remember for a long time for sure. The story is really interesting and you'll start loving it from the beginning itself. The theme song of the series is so close to my heart and whenever the song appears in the series that makes you fall in love with the story and the couple.
The casting couldn't have been any better in my honest opinion. Various supporting characters have been appeared in various situations of the story and all of them managed to do well and make a great impact on the audience.
Talking about the main characters both Pavail Gulati and Sayami Kher have probably given their best performance ever, the story had a lot of potential but a lot of credit to them for the successful execution to the story and Sayami Kher as Manjiri was really so cute and not to forget the amazing performance of Abhilash Thapliyal, he has shown his versatility in acting.
Now moving on to the direction, Ashwini Iyer Tiwari has hit it out of the park with her outstanding directing skills, which you'll notice in her every project and the series wouldn't have been this good without her.
Overally a must watch and you'll surely love every bit of it A Faadu Love story indeed.

Its experience of life from different characters and their journey with right or wrong decisions. The experience of life via poetry with so many actions which made you feel excited, sad winning, baggage, boredom, success ... and love
Actors performance was astonishing & memorable in certain events. Although it's a slow paced story telling way of a web series but it keeps you hooked through the journey.
I don't know about technical aspects of story telling but I can feel & believe that this one is an interesting way of telling the stories with multiple people's life journeys.

At first I thought that Faddu is a love story but guys it's not only a simple Bollywood type love story. There is a lot more in this series. Attitude,Drama, Struggle, best acting, emotions , love and much more. So don't ignore by looking the series name i.e. A love story.

The Story Started Really well Showing Every Ounce Of Mumbai Slums And Its Living Pavail Gulati and Saiyami Kher Did it Naturally really good . Abhilash as always masters the role he is put into the whether its a kota teacher or an pure alchoholic .Gunjan Joshi's Outstanding work and liveliness in the acting made it really worth a watch (Died In the Series giving a large impact on the story even a gangster how he saves Abhay's Money and Also teaching Him why he should'nt have bet was really a goosebump scene) .Daya Shankar Panday perfection in his role was really stunning ( A Indian Father where his all life Money hi house has gone by his son yet his calmness and love after listening to what happen must Have Made Every son gambler or a trader think of his father how a father loves his son no matter what son does ). The Story was Really Good and is Really Interesting from the start Itself Every Character in the series is put on the screen really well. It is no doubt one of the best Indian television series i hv seen and believe me when i say it coz i hv seen hundreds of them. I loved every part of it everyone has done superb acting on their part and lip looking forward for the next season. Spectacular dialogue delievery and everything is perfect at first i only saw it's trailer and i immediately knew i has too see that loved it so so much and the actress siyi she is beautiful and she has that calm and the strength the characters carried throughout the series was impeccable i can strongly recommend this at any point of my life as one of the best.

I loved every part and narration part is just wow.
Saiyami kher you just spread magic on screen, on every moment and a natural performance.
Paval Gulati made me surprised, nice acting A wonderful work by Gulati.
They both hooked and makes it engaging.
I will not say wow about the web series just because they stretched it a bit and thats the con of the web series.

After a very long time, this is the best ever Indian Series i loved the most.
Every single episode is the top notch in Direction, Acting, Screenplay, Cinematography, Story and the most special part in the whole series is the beauty among the family.
Seriously i salute the person who casted the entire team of the show.
I cannot choose any single person in the performance to say that this person done the best... In the starting of the series the scale of direction make me stuck with the every single Angle of the Chaul Area the way Director took shots man... i mean seriously from the starting of the show i totally connected to the every single character. Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari (The Director), Mam...thank you so much for this masterpiece seriously i am stuck with your work.
Saumya Joshi (The Writer) Mam ...thank you so much for this beautiful journey of Faadu, i am glad that the indian film industry has the powerful writer like you now.
Now i want to say something about the characters: Pavail Gulati (Lead Character)..Pavail bhai...you rocked man..you gonna be happy to know that after your this performance you will mark a long journey in this industry i am telling you brother.
Saiyami Kher (Lead Female Character) Saiyami...you already know that you have so many people who have a very strong crush on your Eyes but believe me in this performance you make me much crush on your acting skills.

Daya Shankar Pandey (Abahy's Father) Sir i have seen your so many performance in my life and like all performance this was also your tremendous work sir...i got goosebumps in the hospital scene where you touch Roxy's feet.
Dipti Avlani (Abhay's Mother) Mam...in the very short role but very strong one...your performance touched my heart...i cannot explain you easily...but you reminded me my mother who died after got paralyzed. Every single moment came across in my mind of which i spent with my mother in her last days.
Ashvini Bhave and Girish (Manjri's Mother and Father) Every single scene of both of you make a very positive change in the story wherever the i feel very low situation in the story.. you both were the Backbone of the Story.

I was quiet doubtful before watching as it was unfamiliar and after watching it I became a fan of it. The way story and characters build is just too good. It is more poetic and thoughtful which includes philosophy. It's a gem of webseries and my favourite of all the webseries I watched. While I was going to write this review I was surprised with some comments saying it's too slow and boring. I came to know there are many people who cannot understand and enjoy the art. For those who like feel good movies and webseries I strongly push you just watch it already and thank me later. We are eagerly waiting for season 2.

It promised a lot when it started. But the slow, meandering screenplay coupled with some ordinary acting ensured that even Faadu ended up in the realms of mediocrity like most of the shows.
Saiyami Kher was rank ordinary in this series with her Dreamy Eyes and lack of conviction which was quite palpable on the screen. The lead played by Pavail Gulati was a colossal disaster with his Juvenile ideas projected as some Genius Brainwaves by the Director and Script Writer. The over usage of expletives made his role rather insufferable as Gulati hammed away to glory with some Over Ambitious and Childish business ideas whilst projecting himself as a Genius in which he failed miserably.
Only saving grace was the Gulatis brother played by Abhilash Thaiyal. He did a fantastic job in his Alcoholics Anonymous portrayal and did it the conviction and aplomb. Well done Abhilash, it was indeed a delightful performance.
All in all a forgetful outing for Ashwiny Iyer as a director and Santosh Narayanan for his pedestrian scores. The series was Faaltu and not Faadu unfortunately !!!!

Well from the start itself the characterization is not true to the reality and a little weak.
Hero and the Heroine are Bling and Stand out which is fake.
Casting is okay but all of them have over done their performance.
Art is okay but again not true to the real flavour.
If one had to see it for the heck of it then would have been okay but this in no way invokes the feeling of that could be me or that could be someone i know which is what these fiction dramas are supposed to do.
All in all can pass time watching this but there is better stuff out there
Average show, okay to miss as well.

Faadu is an ambitious attempt at a romantic story between two completely opposite characters, but this series falls short of delivering anything of substance. For starters, the narrative is a bit too predictable and formulaic. The stakes never really feel as high as they could be because we are able to guess what will happen next. Additionally, it seems like the makers were trying to be overly artsy without any real purpose or forward-moving plot development; at times the movie could drag on with no end in sight.
The acting from both leads was also rather subpar. Neither protagonist had enough depth or subtlety for us to truly connect with them emotionally, making it hard for us to invest in their journey.
Overall, Faadu fails to deliver an emotional story that viewers can get invested in. If you are looking for a heartfelt love story or a rags to riches story then you may want to give this one a pass and look elsewhere instead.

Shallow, Predictable and a Drag.

Being promoted as an intense and poetic love story, it's neither intense nor poetic. What's worse, it's not even a love story. The plot progresses on predictable lines. The script doesn't give any depth to the characters and in trying to be artsy almost all the actors end up underperforming. Saiyami Kher is the biggest disappointment. After fabulous performance in "Choked" we almost expect her to be outstanding. Unfortunately her idea of the portrayal of feeling love is being moony eyed with a expressionless smile on her face. Pavail Gulati as the male protagonist looks the most sincere in the entire cast. The director fails to create any shock or even empathy with his attempts to depict poverty and squalor. The main characters do not have any chemistry at all.
Overall the series lacks imagination and feels laboured.

The series presents itself as a love story but fails to deliver on that premise. Despite some intense acting performances, it is not supported by a compelling narrative. The ending is particularly disappointing, feeling both uninspired and nonsensical. It seems as though the creator of this series is deeply entrenched in their own jilted and jaded world. The most frustrating aspect is the series' ability to build anticipation for a positive development, only to leave the viewer feeling let down and violated by its conclusion. Overall, the series falls short of being a meaningful or enjoyable experience.

The series goes so slow that it gives you the feeling of slow motion scenes
The content is of rags to riches which is divided in to 12 episodes going in extreme slow pace ...the character of pavail is so much powerful ,energetic and enthusiastic but it doesn't coincide with the series pace where saiyamis character was a proper match to the pace as she was shown a soft and sensible women
The optimist part of the series is performances of pavail and saiyami both played very well and created a good chemistry..pavail single handedly carried the series as the lead in a remarkable way and some witty instances he played very well
The climax was just opposite to the on going content and did not justify at all
If you have patience to see a slow pace series then this for you.

The optimist part of the series is performances of pavail and saiyami both played very well and created a good chemistry..pavail single handedly carried the series as the lead in a remarkable way and some witty instances he played very well
The climax was just opposite to the on going content and did not justify at all

The lead actors have acted well. But the story and execution is very disappointing. In Episode.9 the way hero pitches to the business idea is pathetic. I mean seriously. Extremely unrealistic. I expected more from Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari. This was not expected from Ashwiny Iyer to pick up such a plot. It is not at all a FADU one. The background score and the plot is very mismatched. They have wasted the good actors like Ashwini Bhave, Girish Oak, and Dayashankar Pande. Sayami Kher looks gorgeous and has done good job. What more to say They have just dragged the series to 10 episodes. Could have been more crisp.
Well made, but issues as few places

This one is slow but well made, you will feel bored sometimes and then there will be some places where you will be glued to the screen. But I am not sure where in India we find
1) Parents of a girl who would marry their daughter to a guy who does not earn and lives in a chawl, with drunkard brother and ailing mother
2) Which girl has so much patience as portrayed in the lead female character
In real world, 1st thing asked by the girl as well as her parents is the income of the guy, and if its less than the girls income the guy is bluntly rejected. And as soon as there are small quarrels the girl reaches court to seek maintenance
Unreal characterizations in this one, and this is the reason for less stars.
