Bonkers fun

A great remake, music gets sampled a lot, it's normal, this brings the concept to the screen. Top japes and a great concept. The voice actors hit the mark all the way through to bring a very old film back to life, a zombie in effect, back from the dusty forgotten place and dragged into the twenty first century for a second life in the hands of the splice masters. It feels like this could be the start of a whole new genre of remade / repurposed film. Its a bit like recycling your plastic bottles and getting back a shiny new something or other. Anyway top marks to Ant and the team for pulling this into the light. We'll done.

Comedy gets no respect, no respect at all. Not as much as it deserves, anyway. Anthony Rudd's first directed movie is a brilliant overdubbed adaptation of an old favourite zombie movie. Humour at every turn. Well written and produced. No matter your sense of humour - silly or sophisticated, light or dark, surreal or broad - you'll find it represented here. Anthony has a vast background in voiceover delivery and this is a worthy first venture into directorship for him. A larger than life script that keeps delivering and will surely be a good family favourite. Grab the popcorn, sit back and enjoy.
