This Fuentes story line is getting old.... She needs to go! It's inevitable that good will win out but she is the most unlikable character and her voice.... don't even get me started.... Smarmy!

This episode was made so well and the show writers have really pulled off an excellent antagonist. Veronica is so easy to loath and her calling to fire Karen really put the icing on the cake for my hatred of her character.

PLEASE show writers, let max and Helen stay and get Veronica OUT!

So tired of the neg reviews from republican snowflakes who can't handle seeing people treated with care & respect. Buzz off.

The lower rating is for the tiresome cartoonish character of Fuentes. She needs to go, which pains me because Michelle Forbes is a favorite of mine. But I want medical drama from my medical dramas, not boring boardroom nonsense.

Like the good ol days

This is the first episode that has felt like s1&2 since... s1&2. All of the patients were tied together by one crisis and all of our leads got to team up and work together. That's always been when this show shines. It was poetic and symbolic and showed a harsh reality a lot of us try to ignore. The only episode of season 4 I thought was good from beginning to end.

Caroline was ok with veronica shutting departments down and letting staff go even head of neuro to save money for stupid stuff but suddenly changed her mind about her after she refused to help hide immigrants :/ The show isn't about max anymore and don't get me started on helen and max,so poorly written Keep going like this and ppl will lose interest soon.

This show used to be Max and New Amsterdam against the world and the patients (most of the time) winning... now it's Max against Veronica, the patients are losing much more, and there is more time spent on internal politics than medicine. That is rapidly becoming less and less appealing. Keep out the politics, keep out the preachy messages, and get back to the original focus.

Complete garbage

This show is going down the tubes fast. The first few episodes of this season were good - without the political commentary of last year's episodes. Now here we are ... back in the depths of political garbage. Why do TV writers feel the need to preach to their viewers??? It's supposed to be ENTERTAINMENT.

Got back on track in the beginning of this season only to start subjecting us to charged political B. S. The show was fine with just the carachters being showcased but not if you sre going to preach social issues!

It's really bad now. Just so political and the subliminal messages. Just all of it is just bad. Season 1 was 10/10 and season 2 wasn't far off too. It's such a terrible show now.

Like what in the effing heck?! Veronica ousted Karen? What!!! No wonder there aren't any good review of this show after bringing in Veronica. I get that maybe the writers were trying "to do something" here but NO, Veronica isn't it. My anger issues could never stay at a hospital with this woman being the medical director. Karen got the bad part of the stick because she had more votes to get her out instead of Veronica. That's bad. Just bad. Veronica is the epitome of every hospital, nursing home, rehab center, and anything else medical these days. If we had a Veronica in all of the businesses today, there would be more sick people and more people that don't want to get help at hospitals. Despicable season and I'm pretty sure I won't be happy with the last season either.
