It's a shame how those innocent men are being treated
may19726 November 2021
After watching this documentary, I feel so sad for the 5 men who are being held in prison for years, even though they are obviously innocent. It is a scandal and I hope this documentary will have some effect and helpt all those innocent people to come free.

I wonder if an international human rights organization could help and why they haven't helped already.

The story is well told, and you learn a lot about the political and governmental system in Mexico, which is destroying lives of innocent and good people every day. It is scary, that you can be taken by mexican police at any time and put in jail without having commited a crime. Even if there is evidence and witnesses, you will be treated/prosecuted like there weren't any. This system is horrible and very scary.

Interesting yet Sad

Warning: Spoilers
Always sad when the justice system does not serve its purpose in society. Sad when innocent powerless people lose their freedom on the whim of a fellow human. This is one of those documentaries that confirms that evil e walks on the earth in human form. Why lock up those guys and deny them their freedom when they did Not commit a crime. Is some egotistical person trying to save face for a major screw up. That mean face fiscalia lady needs to be fired & investigated. She is covering for someone. Hope these guys get released. Tragic for them & their families. Anyone could be a victim of someone with more power than them, that is the summation.

Shame on the Mexican 'Justice' System
njboden28 November 2021
Warning: Spoilers
It's astonishing how the police in Mexico can arrest someone based on the hearsay evidence of someone else, who shoots at you (and hence should be arrested himself). It's also shocking that they can arrest people who can prove they weren't even at the scene of the crime. To compound the injustice further they arrest 2 completely different groups of people for the same crime (a kidnapping), torture confessions out of at least one of those groups and when that trial fortunately collapses they vindictively recharge all but one of those men with a completely different crime, the attempted kidnapping of the man whose wife they were acquitted of kidnapping. Just to prove what evil scumbags they are, the prosecutors appealed the verdict of the judges who were going to release the men in a matter of months and got them sentenced to 50 years in prison!! Also the police rigged an identity parade and failed to take any witness statements, examine CCTV footage or do any ballistics testing.

The Keystone Kops would put the Mexican police, prosecutors and judges to shame due to their far superior competence and even Saudi Arabia would have difficulty competing with them in the injustice stakes.

Free these men NOW!!!!!!
