Jagapati Babu excelled in multi heroine formulas in the 90s . Here Maheswari is an IVF specialist with a mind of her own and is in love with her cousin Jagapati Babu who is brought up by his aunt Vanisri , Vanisri has lost her own daughter in Godavari a few years back . The village dancer Manju Bhargavi is shunned and avoided by all . During the village temple ceremony , Manju's daughter Ruchita Prasad misbehaves with Jagapati Babu as he had evaded her advances in the past .As a punishment the village head Vanisri asks Manju to fill 100 pots of water. To avenge this humiliation to her mother ,Ruchita stops the village deity installation. When Vanisri asks Jagapati to get Ruchita to punish her , he ends up marrying her . A lot of confusions , misunderstandings prevail in that house with Maheswari looking on quietly . In the end , its revealed that Ruchita is indeed Vanisri's long lost daughter brought up by Manju . When Ruchita miscarries her few days old foetus , Maheswari implants it inside herself . The doubting villagers get a lecture on fertility logic and morality . Ruchita conveniently dies in the end ,Maheswari and Jagapati are united. A fine sensitive subject spoilt by a lot of melodrama and sentiments . The songs are shot in green lush locales . Maheswari is decent as an educated doctor .Ruchita is cute and bubbly as a young misguided girl. Jagapati has a lot of fights and dances. over all a nice family movie .
