Perfect Week (#5.14)

What a hilarious episode. Loved it! The idea to make Barney's "perfect week" look like some sports even and have him imagine doing an interview for it was great. It added a lot to the episode. The bad moments of the other 3 were pretty small and short to not take too much away from Barney's big story but they brought a great addition. I was literally laughing out loud through all the Cook Poo moments. And the toothbrush story also was both gross and yet fun.

The story of final girl was also great since everyone of Barney's friends helped him to get her by keeping her away from the Yankee. This is sure the kind of support from his friends that Barney needed the week he almost got fired.

Neil Patrick Harris Is Awesome

How I Met Your Mother is well and truly over its slump from earlier this season, and is now producing excellent episode after excellent episode.

Plot In A Paragraph: With Barney aiming to achieve the ultimate dream by completing "The Perfect Week" which involves sleeping with 7 girls in 7 days, all the gang are rooting for him, to forget their own miserable week. Ted accidentally insulted a student named Cook Poo, when he believed someone had wrote a fake name on his sign up sheet. Robin was upset when a guy she had a bad first date with doesn't call her back, and Marahall and Lily are devastated when they lose another couple as friends when it is revealed that they share a toothbrush.

Any episode that features the brilliant Neil Patrick Harris's character Barney Stinson in the main storyline is always excellent, and this one is no exception, in fact I consider this one of my favourite episodes of HIMYM.

I could go on and on about the brilliance of this episode, and in particular Neil Patrick Harris but I won't bore you with it.

May be the best episode of 5th season till now

Right from the beginning "Perfect Week" has some engaging storyline. Everything about the episode was very thoughtful and funny. Barney's imagination of being interviewed by renowned anchor and the incredible stats of his sexual achievements. Least to say every man in the planet will love to break that stat. Again Barney's thought how Ted("Best friend I ever had"), Robin("The Best Sex I ever had") , Lily and Marshal thinks about him on absence of him is just got funnier. Apart from the Barney's triumph, all of them were not happy with the way that week was going. Barney was going to fire, Lily and Marshal's secret of having one toothbrush was revealed to the world, Robin's soul mate was not calling him for the second date and one of the student of Ted was going to drop from his class. But all the sorrow moments got diluted in front of the 7 out of 7.

The "Perfect Week" is a perfect episode.

How on earth is it possible for this episode to be rated 8.9!

This is totally one of the worst episodes that I have ever seen in a sitcom. First of all this whole barny story is extremely unethical and cheap. But besides that! The toothbrush story. Omg! Sooo lame. 3 people using the same toothbrush for 8 years. Because its rational for people not to replace their toothbrush ... and if this happened it would not have been noticed by the other 2... and so many other details...
