He has so many ups and downs and he is the only one that feels like a real doctor. Since we lost VJ I kept watching the show because of him, otherwise it's an unrealistic environment. Max should join the Avengers I think, or even the Eternals. Oh and the Max-Helen relationship, zero connection.

I would've given this episode a higher score if it didn't once again get political with a false narrative of "evil police going after black and brown Americans" plus I agree with the other reviewers about the ongoing drawn out battle with Max. Obviously he's not leaving in the long run, so a few episodes would've sufficed but the writers seem blocked or something and want to just constantly go on and on with the same thing.

The constant conflict & tension running through every storyline is becoming tedious and taking enjoyment out of watching the show.
It's becoming increasingly difficult to invest one's time & emotion in a show and its characters when there's little to no positive outcomes, no upside, no reward. Feeling awful after watching an episode does not make one want to tune in to watch another.

I originally watched this show because I loved that Max was all for patients and to hell with anything else. I cannot tell you how much I hate that Veronica is replacing him. She's a money grubbing, manipulative woman. Not to say that Max hasn't been doing that for the first 3-4 seasons, but he did it for the patients. This woman is better of being on the board than running the place.
Also, there is so much conflict, arguing back and forth and for what? All I hear is Veronica this and Veronica that. Max hasn't even left yet and she's just pushing her thoughts on everybody and changing things even before Max has gone. This whole addition of Veronica is making this show hard to watch.
