- Leatherface kills a cop with a hatchet, then cuts his face off and dries it. He then is shown stitching the face-mask onto himself, piercing his cheeks with a needle and threading it through his own face.
- Leatherface is beaten severely by two men, then one is skewered with a pitchfork. Leatherface cuts the other man's feet and hands off and feeds him through an industrial mincer.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

- A group of youngsters are seen with drinks in hand or drinking on a handful of occasions, sometimes alone or with others in their group. In one scene, a guy opens a box to find 2 shot glasses & a bottle of alcohol inside.
- A girl is seen smoking a joint for about ten seconds. We see her taking a drag and letting smoke billow out of her mouth.
- A guy is seen with a beer in hand (2 more beer cans around). A woman and man seen smoking a cigarette in separate scenes. There is a reference to having had 18 kamikazes. There is a reference to being in a wine cellar and showing the shapes of wine bottles in the dark but not seen clearly.
Frightening & Intense Scenes

- Leatherface wears a mask made out of the skin from human faces.
- The theme of the movie is about a man killing people with a chainsaw.
- Tons of blood and gore (which is intensified when seen in 3-D).
- Several characters are injured and/or killed in various nasty ways, body parts are severed, and heads are bashed.
- The female main character hides in a open coffin, moments later a chainsaw saw through the coffin, this could be quite intense.
- There are a couple 'jump' scenes involving Leatherface.
