The Doctor, Two Women and an Actuary
claudio_carvalho28 June 2023
Chris Cavaliere, Nick and Langston investigate one corpse, human remains and surgical material dumped in a remote area by a truck driver. The man is Juan Rodriguez and they believe he works with Dr. Jekyll. Meanwhile, Brass, Catherine and Greg investigate the case of a young woman found murdered in the corridor of the Mediterranean. Catherine finds her purse with a gun and they identify her as Karen Jones, from Phoenix. Brass interviews a bartender in the casino and he tells him that she was with another young woman at the bar. Greg watches a surveillance tape from the bar and notes that the unknown woman was flirting with a man at ATM. Their further investigation shows that the woman was also murdered.

"Sin City Blue" is a reasonable episode of CSI. The plot of Dr. Jeffrey Hughes is unfair and resolved due to the supernatural power of the knows-all Langston. The resolution is ridiculous and the motives of Dr. Jeffrey Hughes was noble. The second case is funny, with the actuary using statistics to explain what happened. My vote is seven.

Good Episode, Great Easter Egg
djcubfx16 March 2019
Warning: Spoilers
I mean CSI is just a great show regardless of which episode. I've never caught myself saying "Oh, not this episode. Get me the remote!" My favorite part of this episode is that it contains a great Easter Egg. While a suspect gets his hand placed on a digital analyzer, we follow the scan deep into the machine. As we transition from the physical world to the digital world, we see the familiar ones and zeroes of the Matrix. It's nice to see a serious show that sneaks in a third wall nod to one of their stars. I don't know if it was Larry Fishburne's idea but it shows a nice sense of humor. Well done!

B@#%0cks
prjleach27 November 2010
Warning: Spoilers
Two stories. 1) Dr Jekyll - fine 2) The two girls - b@#%ocks! The first girl gets killed so the second girl - wait for it - moves a bloody great mattress off the bed, breaks a dozen wooden slats, takes out the springs, lifts the girls body into the recess, and replaces the (bloody great big) mattress. This is discovered after the CSI and Brass remove the mattress. Note I said the CSI (young chap) AND Brass move the mattress, because it would need the two of them. If the girl did all this on her own then it would have taken half a day and a toolbox! Where were the bits she removed from the bed? Did she flush them as well? Fairy stories... or the cops failed to locate and arrest her 2 accomplices!

Too Much!
Hitchcoc7 March 2021
Generally I enjoyed this episode. It follows the activities of a man who has questionable medical licensure after a dump of body organs and the body of a boy in a nature refuge. The second plot and the one that's a bit more than logic can handle, involves two beautiful women who are running an extortion scam. The activities of Dr. Jekyll come into play again. What is really too much, as a previous reviewer has pointed out, is the hiding of a body in a mattress. It's about time and skill.
