It's slime.. it's normal
misterplunderer30 March 2023
Let's get on on an adventure of reviewing with rimuru san!

Sypnosis : it's about our fav mc, rimuru tempest and a new character from ogre clan that's facing an entire new problem.

Pros: it's a japanese isekai movie. Of course the animation, soundtrack, sound effects, fight scene, choreography of it will be good and great. The voice actor, timing and the best part.. when they retconning, u didn't feel weird cus it's isekai, shii should be like that.

Cons: it's isekai so the ending kinda typical. Overpowered mc, overpowered sidekick n overconfident opponent. Recipe for a typical isekai anime. Also, idk about the connectivity of it. Is this fillers or this'll be included in the main plot.

Overall, a great anime to watch with other avid of the shows. It's a pillow gripping film and a good enjoyable movie that can be watch in cinema. Recommendable to watch w your anime buddies.

I'm excited for nothing
hajimearata23 March 2023
It's a shame, the movie is very bad compared to the amazing tv series.

I was very excited for the movie because I'm a very big fan of the series and I'll give a 1000/10 for the tv series, but it turns out the movie wasn't that good.

The MC didn't get much screen time, I believe all of the people and I wanted to see Rimuru on action, wanted to see what will Rimuru do and what happen after season 2, since there's a lot of amazing things happen in Season 1 & 2, i thought the movie will be as great as the tv series. But this movie is more of a Special episode version than a Movie, this doesn't supposed to be a movie.

They give too much screen time to new character and it even took like 1 hour just to show another character story, and the action or the fight scene is too plain and there's not much action going on.

At the end when Rimuru fighting the villain, I thought there's gonna be a big fighting scene happening since Rimuru is the one that fighting, but it only took Rimuru 2 seconds to finish the fighting and using beelzebub skill, and that's it.

That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime....
CinemaSerf24 January 2023
I was really quite disappointed with this rather dryly animated fantasy adventure. It all starts when poor old "Mikami" gets himself murdered and is reincarnated in another world where he is thrust into a maelstrom of adventures centring around the beautiful, but mysterious, Queen "Towa" of the small kingdom of "Raja". She has been served loyally for many years by the ogre warrior "Hiro" who now has his work cut out for him when she falls ill and their water supply appears to have become distinctly malignant! His travels for an answer unite him with our recently arrived "Rimuru" who has already attained the status of demon lord and now they must strive to get to source of this malevolent curse in time. I suppose my biggest problem with this, is that the characterisations are drawn entirely from the preceding series'. If you don't know about them (I didn't) then much of this takes quite a while to get straight in your mind; who's who, etc. That's a shame, because as a well produced stand-alone movie, it ought to have acknowledged that new viewers, less familiar viewers, might want to join in. Yasuhito Kikuchi makes no such effort and so, largely devoid of character development, I felt rather out in the cold watching with little sense of involvement. It's still quite a passable adventure story, and there is plenty of action - but I felt a little as if I was watching through the (closed) shop window.

Rimuru again
Sh31kh_H0kv526 April 2023
All over this and i still can't get enough of this anime, it's like a fountain that has beautiful maiden i still get invited to it, hahaha not really though is more like the story yes mainly like half of the animes had this reincarnation vibe but the cache here is the slime being so fortunate that he actually found the one thing dreaded by every nation to be his friend, typical anime setting the rest is just there to keep you entertained throughout the whole anime mostly the comedy is primary reason but the show itself has some elements that's why I just stick with. Demon's are something else entirely when it comes to mischief and play, they'll hurt anyone for the sake of fun but one monster stands out to make a difference his name. Just keeping my fingers crossed for more is all.

Fantastic movei!
jhnhayman31 January 2023
I've been a big fan of the series, and the movie is a perfect bridge between the 2nd and upcoming 3rd season. Rimuru is the best protagonist possible. His story is a common one; An overpowered main character who easily solves problems. What makes this so compelling is not what he does, but the character he displays. Rimuru helps people because he wants to, but he also encourages others to step up and become better people by example. He succeeds because he empowers others, and is trusted and loved by his friends, allies, and subordinates. Without knowing the background of the character and his friends, no one could possibly understand how deeply the relationships built over time and through suffering dictate the flow of the story. Sadly, I can't understand why the only other review posted is by someone who never bothered to watch the series. Ill admit that the larger themes and fun might not be obvious under those circumstances. The fans can do better!

Perfecto Movie
romeluswansschuster5 April 2023
This is one of the best movies and keep in mind i'm a guy who rarely watches movies espically for anime, I've finished seires like Naruto, Sissors Seven, Demon Slayer, & Etc. I loved the anime but I don't watch the movies because it just doesn't really fit into the story as its supposed to in the anime, demon slayer kinda does that somewhat well i'm not sure how I would rate the story connection but that movie was also good. This movie i've just watched is spledid the storyline makes me think this is at the very end of season 2 and it continues an amazing story that makes me more hyped for season 3! It was fun to watch overall hope you watch it too! If you don't like it try anything else afterall not everything is someones all time fav.

One of the best anime films I've ever seen
fietehd1 February 2023
I was surprised that the movie is so good and I loved it. The animations are as good as the music . The characters are well written and the development of them is really good. The movie has some funny and sad and combative scenes. But I would recommend watching the series first, how many jokes you only understand after watching the series. The jokes in the films are sometimes easy to see, or sometimes they're in the background. I loved the series and it was good too but the movie is much much better. I would recommend watching the film in a group who have watched the series or love anime but you can also watch it alone.

By far the worst animated movie ever
iphonescamo1 February 2023
I was so excited for this movie and saw it the first (and only) day my local theater was showing it and was it the biggest let down. The tv series is amazing but this movie was filled was the worst writing and character development ever. The animation style and sound effect don't even match the original series. It was so bad that 2 of the main characters die like 3 times each and come back to life. I implor you not to waste your money. The main character of the series Literally spends 20 min chasing the same character then just insta kills him absolute waist of time.this movie single handily is the worst piece of this entire series. Would rather watch paint dry then that movie ever again.

Best movie in anime series
shabsingh-5479627 February 2023
Warning: Spoilers
I have liked this movie very much and I want such movies to come in future and thanks to all of you from my side. And in this, the character of Remove has been created very well. If there is a slight deficiency in it, then it has been supplied within this movie. And the enemy who is inside this movie, he played his role very well and the dubbing of the movies has been done very well in one way. I wish that Rimuru's movies continue to come like this in future and all of you play your part well in it. I loved this movie when I saw it in the theatre. I wish that this movie should also come online on Netflix as soon as possible so that everyone can watch it and its fan following can increase even more.

Awesome!!! But the animation of Diablo sucks!
GKoeneke12 March 2024
Warning: Spoilers
This movie follows right after the events at the end of Season 2. I like the story and it gets you around the continent to see a different country from where the series or light novels take you. I like the tie in with Clayman and the Ogre village.

Overall, they did a good job with the story. It fits in even though Fuse wrote this after he finished the story, or at least the Webnovel.

Now, the only 2 things I didn't like: 1. Some of the voices, in English, were different voice actors. I hate it when they switch. We've gone 2 full seasons and it seems they can't keep the same ones all the time. The main characters are the same, Rimuru in particular.

2. Diablo's Animation - They screwed this one up, bad! They messed up his nose and it made him look goofy instead of the. Suave Stud he is in the series. They did a good job matching everyone else, but they really botched Diablo. Hopefully, this studio will get it right if they are ever put on this series again.

That Time A Filler Episode was called Tensura The Movie
miketwng28 March 2024
Warning: Spoilers
I got around to watching Scarlet Bond. I really loved the design of Hiiro and Princess Towa. However, in the same movie itself, Hiiro was constantly branded a one-track character, he tries to be like Benimaru, cool, calm and serious and in this he takes Benimaru's position as that cool protagonist. Princess Towa's tiara is basically called "Ugly Tiara" which was pretty funny to hear because she's petite and has pretty cool light green ponytails. Sadly both these characters weren't able to be fleshed out unlike the ones we know from the TV series. What could have made it better? IF you replace the perspective to Towa's. Let her be our window to Raja, Hiiro. Because even after the movie I still cannot wrap my head on what was on her mind when she saved and named him.

Give us the context to why it was important.

I also admire the fight when Hiiro attempted to destroy the orc in Tempest. It showed how the orc was able to let go his weapons and shield. To sacrifice for his kin. The sins of the orcs. Sadly it was a one and done. Forgive so easily and to be forgotten. However, what I hated most was how Fuse dumbed Hiiro down at the very last part of the movie. Hiiro had a big role to play as the new character introduced in this movie. The least you could do is sacrifice his life and leave it at that. However not only did they Disneyfy the death but no one died in the end, so nothing mattered. I would have loved to see how Hiiro lost his horn. Or like how Towa was played like a puppet into becoming sick. Instead, it's just a set of unrelated short episodes strung together to tell a side quest of a neighboring kingdom's two characters: Towa and Hiiro, who lived happily ever after. No idea why our heroes needed to be in here and become film extras but it helped expand the film length. Adds a bunch of characters to the lore of Tensura but nothing major to enrich the canon. If you per chance skipped this movie, you don't lose any important story beads to Tensura. Maybe you'll watch this and say, yeah it was a good time, better animated side story with pretty action esthetics. Just avoid thinking about why and just roll with it.

Hail Rimuru-sama!
desilamparas4 June 2023
I finished Scarlet Bond, and here are my thoughts! I was in awe when the new character (Hiiro) was introduced and was even amazed about the problem, the poisoned land, and the tiara's mystery tied to the royal family and how it all ties to the Goddess (AKA the Demon Primordial Violet herself). Interestingly, the animation was exquisite (aside from a few anatomical distortions), but the plot seemed rushed in contrast. How can I say that? Two things, even though the characters' emotions and actions look realistic and justifiable. The execution of how the resolution looked very forced. For that long movie, it is sad that some scenes were wasted on unnecessary talks (of course it is okay if it is put in the series). Secondly, the build-up towards the resolution. We've known Rimuru already and it is very unlikely that he prolongs the end of his battles with his enemies (but if they are powerful, that's okay. However, his battle with Lacua looks awkward to me as the viewer. Well, maybe because the movie forced to include the part where Lacua gulps the orb or that Rimuru is still recovering his drained magical from his fight with Clayman previously (which is extravagantly unlikely knowing he has evolved into a higher magical being now). It is also quite disappointing when he just finished all the other obligations and knew that he has to go to the dying Hiiro right away but that scene of them talking was just so long and I am like imagining Rimuru doing a moonwalk with Ranga because of how slow they are to get there. Maybe it is because of how great Rimuru is in my head that I think he can swallow them and absorb the problem then release them once it is done, Beelzebub. Of course, I know he can, but the movie just forces it to not do that for the reason of being foolishly cringed. Get the Tiara to wish Hiiro to resurrect and then when Tora crumbled, the Goddess gave her her life back. Like, Rimuru/Raphael has the secret art of "resurrection" now, right? As long as there is enough magicule. Speaking of cringe, I am getting tired now of the other villainous characters looking down at Rimuru or when Spirit Queen entered, and they (the ministers) belittled her. Get over it. But, a silver lining, she always listens because she showed up right away. Also, my attention dissipated when the main leads kept on dying and then getting alive again. Nonetheless, I am excited to watch the 3rd Season and maybe even read the manga even though how busy I am! Love lots to everyone who worked on this series!
