Big fan of Schulz, and his podcast. Was super excited for his special. It's funny, but I guess I pre hyped it too much because I wasn't overly impressed by it.

Also the jokes aren't as controversial as you'd think or anything. Still a good watch for any of his fans.

Schulz is on fire!

Absolutely fantastic special. The jokes were tight and at times, BRUTAL. If you love a great comedian who loves to push that line, this is a special for you.

It's good, watch it

It's good. Better then most of the stuff i've watched lately. Pretty solid material. Some of it is just funny, some of it smart, the performance very energetic. I loved it.

Best Comedy Special since Delirious
shone-diggity18 July 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Yes I said it! What else would you expect from a living legend who's genius coined the term to describe Amber Heard (who has a body count that includes Elon Musk and J Depp) as "The Throat Goat!"?

The layers in the jokes, the build up, all of it is simply uncanny. My favorite bit - "Y'all" - on the hottest of topics, scoop-scoop (abortion), incorporates political jabs, hot button issue, insults both sides of the debate, all while making both sides laugh first at dissing one side, then laughing at themselves; and even LOCALIZES it by saying y'all in an Austin theater. That's a comedy GOAT.

Schulz for President!

Schulz is Top 2 in the Game
marquismcbeath20 July 2022
Loved the special! Got to see him twice on the road in Jacksonville and Birmingham. The Special was even better the 3rd time even with the new jokes sprinkled in. I think what makes Schulz so great is he is the most cultured comedian in the game and the reason why he can get away with giving everyone these jokes! Salute bro!

It's funny but nothing really stands out.

Im a big andrew schulz fan i really admire that he bought back this special and release it on his terms. I was expecting to be laughing the whole 56 minutes of this but there were jokes that didn't really hit and felt like it's an old joke that everybody knows. I really like that schulz have the courage to say what everybody thinks but too PC to say it. It was funny i will always watch schulz but i've seen better stuff from him hoping for a 10 star worthy special next.

Schulz is the GOAT

Outstanding...Might be a bit hard to follow for people un-familiar with American pop-culture and politics lately, but I absolutely loved it. He is dedicated, whitty with fast-mind.

One of the best specials I've ever seen
ajae-5440130 July 2022
I didn't think I'd like this as much as I did. I have listened to Andrew's podcast and didn't really think he was all that funny.

I was wrong. This is an instant classic. Watch it. You won't be disappointed.

This dude is incredible
backup-5036212 November 2022
I randomly found his new special on YouTube and wow - he has the best audience interaction, the funniest, non-divisive, yet edgy jokes, and a perfect flow.

Normally anyone who still brings up Trump or MAGA stuff or covid by now is just going to get eyeroll reactions because everyone's cosmically tired of it, but this dude manages to make it fun.

He brings up Michael Jackson and does a very Dave Chappelle like joke - now that was kind of sus, but still - funny.

So out the bat, I dare say this dude is one of the greatest modern comic. If his future specials are on this level, then wow, I'm happy to say there's still hope for comedy, if nothing else.

The guy from high school who didn't mature at all now has a special
seanorafferty13 July 2023
Schultz can best be described as that idiot from high school who thought he was smarter and cooler than everyone who is now in his 40s and still making the exact same jokes he did 25 years ago.

I was relatively unfamiliar with Shultz when I decided to watch the special, but had heard his name before and heard he was an up and coming comedian. Ultimately, I think he probably needs more time to figure out what is funny and what is just funny to his friends because I did not laugh one time. In fact, he laughed at his special a lot more than I did, never a great sign. The material is neither funny nor relatable, neither witty nor thoughtful, and the performance all in all felt amateurish.

The jokes aren't really jokes and his act is more of a shtick or style than it is jokes and being funny. Sort of like how Dane Cook wouldn't really tell jokes but would weave silly sayings into comedic stories, only this special is far less funny. The topics themselves were played out and unoriginal and he certainly doesn't cover any new ground within them.

Hard pass.

Energy !
cekadah18 August 2022
Funny! Fast! And full of energy. Schulz keeps the comedy rolling with a great ability to bring up any subject/topic and apply it to himself which makes his 'style' so magnetic.

Jump into this 'Infamous' special for a no-holes-bared laff riot!

Love me some Schulzie!!!
Jo-Cino29 September 2022
As a long time fan i'm real proud to see Andrew Shultz is at the top of his game in Infamous and it couldn't have come at a better time. His stories have so many brilliant little nuggets wrapped inside each and every one of them it's hard not to appreciate the layers of comedy gold on the way in and on the way out of each of his segments. Some are really quite masterful.

Truth be told, he's pretty raw and doesn't hold back or discriminate against any one type of race or sex - he blasts them all (haha). His fans are all ready for whatever stereotypical joke he's about to tell and they all love him for that... in a world of cancel culture it's this balancing act - and the lack of fear that keeps him from being cancelled, i think anyway.

The negative reviews you will read here are likely due to the offensive jokes that may not sit well with those with much thinner skin but this is what's made andrew shultz and he makes sure to go hard in this one hour stand up.

His mastercraft is his ability to do crowd work at his smaller gigs so i was happy to see him stay true to that here even with a much bigger crowd. Some rows members were obvious plants setting up his next bit but he's always so well prepared for everybody that it's pretty seamless.

If you like good, smart, raw comedy that has not a drop of fear in it and is willing to touch on virtually every taboo subject from politics to abortion to rape...etc.. then you will absolutely love spending an hour laughing at this... if you're very thin skinned and one of those people who think everything should be protested, you're probably better off staying away.

Great job shultzie!!

GOAT like performance! I enjoyed it so much
tasheenacalloway31 October 2022
He's so good at what he does, that it's not a comedy show, it's like a huge party where everyone is focused on the funny guy. A truly remarkable hour of comedy. It's hard to explain but this special gave me the same feeling I would get growing up and watching the legends of comedy. No other comedian right now has given me this same feeling.

I watched this on the initial stream while I was working at a national lab. Safe to say I really needed this kind of energy to lift me up when I was away from home. A great special - amazing work as always.

It's great to see someone go this hard, hasn't happened in a long time...he kept me rolling.

Schulze Does It His Way... And Wins
ericknromero30 May 2023
Andrew Schulze's "Infamous," which you can watch on YouTube because it was barred from every streaming service, was some of the funniest material I've heard in a long time. It's mainly... um.. shall we say "adult" humor? And it hits time and time again.

Though famous for his expertise in working the crowd during his acts, taking off the cuff comedy to levels only the most talented can go, the scripted stuff by Schultz surprised me at how balanced it was. You could tell this dude practiced everything: delivery, word choice, facial expressions, etc. This was a masterclass in staying the course, trusting your writing, and somehow still managing to read the room.

Speaking of that balance, he even took the most controversial topics of the day and made it so he tore into everyone; you can't tell what "side" he's on. It's really a throwback show, where the comedian can be as raw as they want as long as the audience is along for the ride. Considering the Puritan culture we reside in now, it felt like exhaling after holding your breath for too long.

I definitely recommend it, but put earmuffs on the kiddos first before turning it on.

Better marketer than comedian
willjmorrow28 September 2022
Shulz spun a huge story that streaming services wouldn't pick up this special because his jokes were too controversial. I was drawn to watching this as there are some pretty edgy jokes on specials like Chappelle's that weren't censored. Watching Shulz special I actually believe it didn't get picked up because it just wasn't good enough. Not a single joke was original, controversial and I didn't laugh once. It was a mediocre special that was marketed as some ground breaking controversial feat. He also conned his fans into buying it on the streaming service and used ploys like a hacker had stolen it to really push this special. Charging 15 dollars for this? I would feel very ripped off especially since comedians like Louis CK sold theirs years before this for $5.

The only groundbreaking new territory this guy covered was jamming a gambling ad right in the middle of his special. To be honest I've never seen a comedian stoop so low for cash as to break up their special to do that.

Overall, I would not recommend this special. Don't be fooled by the YouTube comments. I think they're paid bots and so are the accounts liking those comments.

Shulz is a marketer disguised as a comedian.

Unfunny
steo-3221213 August 2022
Just badly written jokes amd he over laughs at his own punchlines. Tries to be shocking but its Tame and I've heard all these jokes before.

I'm guessing his audience is 14 year olds.

Very Hacky
manangoenka17 August 2022
Tame and old, overdone jokes that are marketed as edgy material. Only children would find him funny. If shulz deserves a 7.9 rating, Shuab deserves at least a 5.
