Sex & Nudity

  • A man wakes up out of bed and puts his hand in underwear to scratch himself.
  • A few instances of grabbing the crotch.
  • A man sitting in a chair puts his hand in pants to scratch and implies he got something from prostitutes.
  • Sexual references.
  • A man brings two prostitutes to a hotel room for sex. Bondage and handcuffs are mentioned, sex implied but nothing other than women's cleavage.
  • A man walks around his house in his underwear and a shirt, and answers the door to a woman in this state.

Violence & Gore

  • There are scenes of people being shot, with bloody results, but since this is an action comedy, it is done in a comic way.
  • A man is shot several times in the back, and some blood is seen, but not much, as it is dark and seen in silhouette form.
  • A fairly graphic murder aftermath scene: a man has been shot in the head, and blood and brain matter are spattered all over the wall. There is writing on the wall in what is presumed to be the man's blood.
  • A gang of youths crash a car, one is seen dead and it is implied that the others are also dead.
  • A man is threatened with a gun.
  • A man batters another man with an antique gun, no blood. He is seen smashing the other man in the head, but it is obscured, still brutal. But the characters laugh it off.
  • A man shoots a man in the chest, some smoke bursts from the wound and blood quickly stains his shirt and a bullet hole is seen weeping blood. He then slowly dies.
  • In a shootout several men are shot and killed.
  • A man is shot and large blood spray shoots forward and he falls as a small pool of blood forms around his body, fairly quick
  • A man and another man exchange shots until one man is shot in the chest, with a bloody spray and hole, the other man is hit and blood sprays from his arm. Then the first man is shot dead, with another bloody spray.
  • Another henchman is shot in the throat a large liquid burst of blood spurts, brief, but bloody.
  • A man is shot and falls back but no blood is seen.
  • A man is shot and falls dead,small wound is seen.
  • A man shoots a man close range and burst of blood hits the camera briefly.
  • A wounded man is laying on a bed, and blood is all over the sheets. He is then shot again in the side, resulting in a jet of blood spraying into the air.

Profanity

  • 117 uses of "fuck", 2 uses of "cunt", other uses of derogatory anatomical/sexual terms. Though the swearing is not graphic, it's more of a general way of speech.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Characters drink alcohol at bars and at home.
  • The film's plot is about drug smuggling and the main character is seen taking pills and a tab of acid.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • A man's mother dies, can be upsetting.
  • A ship catches on fire, and a man is burnt to death (off screen).
  • The rating is R for pervasive language and drug use, but there is some bloody violence in the film, which can be strong even though it is a comedy.
  • The end scene is fairly bloody and could upset some viewers.
