A sow, a dance, and a cow
VetteRanger13 January 2023
The episode kicks off with tickets to a charity dance. Tristan cleverly arranges for James to ask Helen, even though James is in the dark. As it turns out, Tristan may be a gadabout and unreliable, but he turns out to be a remarkably effective community psychologist.

James handles an emergency where a small dog was caught in a fox trap, and Mrs. Hall seems intrigued by the gentleman owner.

Tristan is called upon to open a hematoma on a dangerous sow, and a wealthy client gives Siegfried trouble about a sick cow, threatening to change to a rival veterinarian.

Now all goes as planned at the dance, leaving the question of whether James and Helen have a future wide open.

The Big Dance
Hitchcoc27 January 2024
This is the perfect opportunity for James to get together with Helen at an annual dance. Things don't happen in exactly the way he would have liked. Meanwhile, he is overworked and has to put in extra time to treat a dog that has stepped in a trap. The dogs owner gets to spend time with Audrey and a connection seems to be initiated. There is a fun part where Tristan and Siegfried go to a farmer's to treat a pig with a huge hematoma on its snout. The results as Tristan is attacked by the pig are quite hilarious. But all's well that ends well. There is the continued tussle with the fact that Tristan has not been certified but only Siegfried knows that.

Life, live and laughs

Another great feel good episode where you care for the characters and good. You feel for the farmers but know all will be well in the end.

Loving the will they-wont they ongoing saga with Hen and James but, anyone that has read the books watched the original series knows what happens.

This series makes the original seem old.

A great watch.

Warning: Spoilers
An entertaining episode of the second season of the reboot of All Creatures Great and Small, with a bit of sauciness by All Creatures Great and Small standards really, but not Carry On sauciness.

James helps save Helen's doggie thankfully, because the dog is so cute. James is still torn between his mom's desire to practise in Glasgow, and his heart for Helen who is now single.

The denouement was quite saucy by All Creatures Great and Small standards, and Siegfried and Tristan are like little kids with their hands in the cookie jar when Mrs. Hall asks about their past night at the Daffodil Dance.
