Good, but not as spectacular as the opener. The Story is a little padded out, but we learn sufficient for it to be a worthwhile episode.

An excellent performance from Clarke Peters as Grandpa Falls with a nice portrayal of a difficult old man. Faraday's focus is fabulous and I love the way he finally solves his biggest current difficulty.

Really enjoying this, just the right balance of chaos to hold my attention, has the same nutty vibe as the first watch of Preacher.

Great acting again from chewy and Naomi.

ONLY reason it's not a ten is the wait for episodes.

Get your act together and let me binge watch please.

A Refreshing Change

Sci-Fi done with imagination rather than depending on lots of dollars put into special effects. Instead of another outer space western this is a story told about us and where we live. Strong performances all around and lots of surprises going from the humorous and grotesque to the shocking and magical. The best science fiction is a well told story about people and less about technological spectacle. This is the best I've seen in a while.

Best episode so far.

I wasn't sure where this series was heading and was starting to roll my eyes with the whining and woke rubbish. However, enter Rob Delaney, add some comedy and some super acting from the whole cast and I'm definitely in for the season. The low scores are people thinking it should follow the book and film with Bowie. Now changing colour and sex from books does annoy me, if they were popular enough in fiction to warrant a film then they should keep with the character as is. However when this is clearly only in name and it's clearly just trying to entertain the watcher, plus the assembled cast is super, then grow some and just enjoy people.

Warning: Spoilers
Started off somewhat intriguing but by the second episode it's obvious this is utter trash much like Discovery has become. Another show from Kurtzman. I know that the alien is trying to acclimatize but the mannerisms are so off putting and disturbing. The camera angles, the directing and acting are just too bizarre. No one except for Naomie acts remotely normal. The scene in the restaurant was another disturbing scene as the poor waitress was trying to do her job while the mentally ill man kept changing his order. What was really disturbing was Kate not saying anything to help her and then calling her the c word later. Nobody normal wants to see such disturbing characters in the multitude. Hard pass.
