The plot got me hooked from the first episode, which is rare for a k drama, so points for that. It's the kind of show that doesn't let you get bored or feel like using your phone while watching, it truly pulls you in. The revenge plot was well executed, and the acting of the villain was top notch. I think this drama shows how rejection and humiliation can drive people into insanity and pure evil, so I love how deeply the villain's backstory was portrayed . That said, the ending felt rushed and the romance between the leads wasn't properly developed. The chemistry was a bit off too.

The first half is confusing. Lots of characters are introduced and it's hard to figure out who is who. Bad directing. That masquerade party is confusing. But half way through when things come together its gets quite exciting. From ep4-8 it was gripping with all the soapy elements coming into play. Love triangle revenge drama mother in law disapproval corruption. Jung Yoo Jin gets a chance to play a real psycho villain for a change from her roles in Snowdrop and Something in the Rain. She has a great figure. Kim Hee Sun looks good with black hair. Complete satisfying ending.

But fun, fun ,fun! Leads beautiful , 2 great FL's and ML's. Story silly, of course, but kept me entertained and that's all I want. FL gorgeous, don't know if I've seen her before, and good chemistry with her lead actor!

Literally watched the whole season in one day. Not one episode disappointed. This series deserves only a score of 10/10. I don't want to give anything away, but every character will captivate you, and you'll either love to love them or love to hate them. Can't wait for season 2!!!

I'm glad I gave it a try despite the low rating. It's a high quality korean production, very captivating story, overall very entertaining.
I wish it was 12 episodes intead of 8, to allow for more character and romance development. The actors are great, despite the age difference.

After the suicide of her unfaithful husband a teacher joins an exclusive dating agency to seek revenge against the scheming mistress who betrayed him. Kim Hee-sun is the lead and her and the rest of the cast do an ok job. My issue is with the plot which doesn't allow for character development and so you feel no empathy for any of them. It also seems to be ticking boxes joining certain events with loose thread, and lacks the pacing necessary to make the story flow. The most interesting character is the villain played by Eugene Jung and she is the protagonist which made me want to watch it till the end.

Omg this show was phenomenal! Gah! I knew from the trailer it was going to be good but damn it was Amazing! From the first episode I was hooked I binged it all in one sitting, didn't get anything I was supposed to do done today... but I have no raggggrets! 🤣 it was so addictive and full of twists! You immediately feel for the female lead and want her to get everything! This drama puts the Din Drama! The woman are fierce and no one wants to lose! Gahhhhh, I swear I offed that skannnnk like 311 times on my mind and she was like a cockroach that just wouldn't die!!!! The acting was fantastic! You really get into the show, and hang on for the next big boom. The men, gahhhhh our main lead is quickly becoming one of my new favorites, he's incredibly handsome in a mysterious way, he's sexy without trying to be. Gahhhh he had me daydreaming. And our second lead like coke on seriously, what a man! He's gorgeous and truly cares for our main girl, only has eyes for her and puts her before anything and anyone. He easily Stole my heart, I swoooned wayyy too many times! He was the definition of a Good Man! He is definitely making the list of kdrama boyfriends! I loved the ending, and come on 8 episodes was wayy too short I needed more!

Korean Drama " Remarriage and Desires " is a clasic revenge melodrama..
The story is pretty basic, but it's entertaining and enjoyable. And even though it got repetitive, it wrapped up things nicely and just a few episodes..
The characters, moreover, were classic, annoying, nerve wracking melodrama characters, but served the story just right. The performances, in addition, were smooth and enjoyable by everyone in the cast..
So, overall, seven out of ten stars.
The drama doesn't have much surprises to offer, but it checks all the boxes for an entertaing and frustrating korean drama melodrama..

Best Revenge K-Drama Ever!

This is the best revenge drama I have ever seen - genius script in only 8 episodes; I can see another season of 8 more episodes coming soon by the extra little scene at the end suggesting that and I just can't wait. This adult drama of deceit, cheating, executives getting duped by temptresses, murder, dirty politics, dating/matching service for the elite contract marriages for business purposes, real love too and the revenge that is the main theme of the drama is all excellent. I admit I was starting to get a little disgusted in the ending when a really different twist that I have never seen before happened and it was all worth it to watch. The male lead Lee Hyun-wook as Lee Hyeong-joo did an excellent job in his role and fit the part perfectly.

The plot set up was golden. The beginning has a very interesting set up. But, as the plot progressed it didn't do a good job showing how relationships builded to the point it seemed like someone who went on a blind date or one date married someone else. It just seemed that way because of the lack of development.
The villain was smart but then also stupid. Just too smart and then too stupid. The villain wasn't believable to me. It just seemed too ridiculous that she'd think that she could get away with all those things and still get her way. Really!!?? It's she crazy it sane, smart or dumb?! You can't have it both ways.
Finally, what bugged me about this show was how all the main characters knew each other and ran into each other all the time. In real life the odds of that are too slim. In a small town yes, but not a big city!!
The acting seemed to stiff too. Everyone's faces were deadpan too much of the time. Either that they were formal.
I don't know what I'm complaining so much. But, with the beginning plot set up, the show could have been done much better if the writer wasn't so lazy.

This series is pretty good. The plot twist might blow your mind because it's not clear who is on whose side. The lead female though, always has that "I'm miserable" face. You can't tell whether she's happy, she's mad or she's sad because she always looks sad. It's a little annoying. There is NO CHEMISTRY on the lead female & male. Maybe it's her face or the lack of love showing that every dorama has; but it doesn't make me feel like watching it again. The villain is the best in this series. Her acting is pretty good.

This is a great melodrama for the suspense factor. It delivers a complex plot in just 8 episodes that reels you in from the get go. However it all falls apart at the end, with characters and situations appearing out of nowhere. The last scene in particular is not believable but makes for a happy ending. The highlights of the show are the hero and the villainess. The two leads' romance could have been explored more. There was certainly some chemistry there. Too bad!

Good casting for some of the actors, although, I didn't feel any empathy, emotion towards anyone. It took me a while to care a little bit about main characters, and had to ff a lot, as some parts were unnecessary.
The build up just wasn't there and some scenes just unfinished and/or unbelievable. The storyline was good, and actors too, which made me try to finish it, otherwise I would have dropped it.
Everything is ridiculously censored, except for her husband's suicide.
Going back and forth with that marry me, no.. marry me... no.. marry me..
And the ending! Gave people what they wanted, but at the same time they didn't give people what they actually wanted.
You can barely see a struggle of emotion between the main characters. I did not even shed a tear when the daughter's accident happened.

So many movies nowadays are made for the sake of making them, but don't bother to put some effort into it to make you feel for those characters, to root for them. Finding a good movie today is like finding a needle in the haystack.

The art direction and costumes are fabulous and very enjoyable to watch.
This drama is 8 episodes but it should be at least 12 episodes. Many characters' developments are simply missing and inadequate.
The weakest link in this drama is the female lead. Her character is boring, blunt and superficial. In the end she did nothing in the story. We do not understand why she is named as the key character and why two quite impressive men will be interested in her. Everything about her story is superficial, even her past story with the second male lead is underdeveloped. Unfortunately she also has zero chemisty with both male leads.
The total opposite is the villain of this story. She is a delight to watch in every moment, Her story is much more deep and at times we can even understand her motives. The actress who played the villain has made a fantastic job with her character.
Overall it is a fun and enjoyable watch but it feels like it missed the opportunity to be much more.

When you watch it you are curious which couple will end up together and yeah this was the happiest ending i ever saw in A kdrama before And i have totally fallen in love with Hyung Ju and Mr Cha also the Minji and thee young boy their acting is so good.

The first couple episodes were well written, but then either the writer quit or wanted more money as it was confusing. The idea that someone could find a spouse for someone who's wealthy is a good premise, but having a "Halloween party" seems ridiculous. Then the villain could do whatever she wanted with the "heroine" knowing what's she's doing but not telling anyone, seems odd.
Other than the plot being confusing, I also thought some of the actors were miscast. There was not the chemistry that I'd expected in a kdrama.
I would recommend the first 3 episodes and if you want to know how it ends, then watch the last episode.

Another great production marriage & divorce kdrama

I love the plot, cast and the high end production. However the damsel in distress,Seo Hye Seung was so weak, that flaw magnified her older looks, unruly hair and poor style. It was very hard to be on her side despite her sad story line, with her not smart enough acts against antagonist Jin Yoo Hee. It was stressed out many times that SHS was clever as she is a professor etc, however still Hye Seung for me was hopeless. She definitely couldn't foresee the danger ahead ie the safety of her daughter. She underestimated JYH and without continuous helps from the two main leads her threats and ego that she threw to JYH just meaningless. Her revenge plan has no actual plan what so ever apart for telling her side of story to the world? Laughable.
Watching this drama, I couldn't help but comparing to World of the Marriage. The mistress in that drama was absolutely stunning but never once me and i dare to say fellow viewers were on her side. The quick thinking, always a few steps ahead wife/victim was brilliant. She was older, but yet she was so stylish, strong & captivating.
Back to this Remarriage & Desires, im on JYH side. She was not only beautiful and smart, she was also highly motivated and charismatic.
Kudos to all actors and actresses. It was really an enjoyable and great drama indeed. Special Shoutout to actress Jong Eu Gene, the director picked the right actress for the role. Thank you all!
Ps: the last 20 seconds of the ending made me smile. What an intriguing ending. We will see you in season 2 yes?
