So I am trying to be objective. Me not being a fan of bear just means that I was not going in excited.
So first of all he is not an actor. For a survival program that is kind of okay. But for an interactive experience that is a miss.
It is very poorly written.
He grabs a photo. And says something like this this must be my family, I don't remember them because I have amnesia so that is why I must get through this....
The choices you make. Well sometimes it is a coinflip. Other times it is because you might have watched some of his shows or know a little about survival. A lot is common sense.
But than again sometimes you which you could chose.... Disturbing for example something that is hidden by something that is stronger than you doesn't seem like a good idea. Than again he manages to turn a dead bear's skin into a good looking jacket in no time... Not how I would have spend my time... and that is the issue....
the options you have are few and far between and sometimes he goes to list the advantages and the disadvantages before your pick.... tunnels vs mountain. Using the light now or waiting with it...
the light source is actually also a joke. He finds a corroded helmet. Yet in the same spot the light source is as if it came straight from a shop...
Yeah it might be different materials. But I am sure there should be reasons why it was unlikely to work.
So the entire setup. The story and the execution in my opinion are very poor...
I watched a bear show once for about 15 minutes and than I got bored... that 15 minutes was a lot better because it didn't have a fabricated back story. And he didn't try to act as he does here.
If you want some family bonding. Because that is in the subtitles . Well just talk at the dinner table and ask how there day was. That is more meaningfull than reading this review or watching that thing...
