I've seen all RPDR franchise and this is one of the tops for me along side UK and Spaña. Also like that the judges are very honest on their critics. Not bad for 1st season. The looks are incredible, likeable personalities.

The queens are the star of the show! They are making their storylines and you feel that the producers are really just following where the queens wanted to take us. All the challenge puns are carefully laid out so that Pinoy drag race fans would really get giddy everytime you hear a new challenge.
Only time will tell how this show would hold up but judging by these two episodes it's gonna be a thrilling ride!
Leaving out a star cause the production design can be improved. Studio space is really cramped for example that camera angle/framing of KaladKaren with the slanted weave display with the black wall of the studio with the fairy lights in the judging panel shows how cramped this studio is.

Ofc theres an improvement needed with the set, camera works, production, lighting and all that. But overall, its unexpected what these Filipino queens have served.
Of all the franchise, its an advantage to be a semi-English speaking country, cause we easily understand and fall in love with these queens who gives charisma, uniqeness, nerve, and talent.
There's fun and fashion as well, purely entertainment. Love this show. Love the Filipino queens. The warmth and festivity. One of the best franchise. WERK.

The first two episodes were absolutely immaculate, the lipsync performances and song choices were on point.
The editing and pacing could use some adjustments, but overall the chemistry of all the contestants is amazing and fun.

So this was when I asked myself "Is there such thing as too much drag? And the answer was YES! Chaotic, cheap are the words that come to mind. And the host/main judge? Terrible choice. Nothing that could persuade me to continue watching.

The crew members don't like criticism so they might as well keep their show within their private viewing rooms. The director recently body shamed a person online. The judges are very inconsistent too. It's pretty obvious that there are contestants which they heavily favor.
RuPaul must be concerned. The show is okay but it's the judges and the crew members that they need to replace.

I don't really watch a lot of the non-US franchises (only watched a bit of UK, Canada, and Down Under), but THIS is on another level.
PH > US. Sure, there are biases in a way that I'm Filipino, and that the references present throughout the series are understandable for me more than international viewers, but there's just something about the chemistry and the personalities from these queens that is so much better than the recent years of the US series.
Also, it's so weird for me that "Pop Off, Ate" is so good that I had it saved on my Apple Music, compared to all the songs I've heard from DRUS.

One of my initial concerns for the show is that the queens and the overall run of the show will try to imitate the western drag scene but after the first two episodes I'm glad that the show stayed truly filipino, from humor, drama, and even in challenges. The personality, fun, and charisma is overflowing.

I believe this episode showcased everything about Philippine Drag in just one episode. We saw how quirky and joyful the queens are on the Mini Challenge and that's just how playful the PH LGBT Community is in general. We also saw how creative filipinos are with the Maxi Challenge using unconventional materials. It is truly remarkable to see them using organic materials since filipino queer people love to use these and make fabulous outfits from it. I can't put everything into words but this is just some of the things I have appreciated this episode.

From the set to the "main" judges breast make up all of it look cheap. I've seen better talent shows put together by preschoolers. Why isn't Jiggly the main judge anyways?

Drag Race PH is an amazing iteration of Drag Race that illuminates the often overlooked and undervalued talent of the Drag and Bakla culture that is rich within the Philippines. The first season has a great range of queens, representing the diversity of Philippine queens from Mindinao to Manila to Baguio and so forth. It is definitely a franchise to watch out for! My favorite that's been released so far within the last year for sure!
Be ready for lerks, gags, stunts, humor, and definitely raw emotions (especially in UNTUCKED). Next vacation : Philippines to pay tribute to these queens . I definitely will visit Nektar and O bar!!

Honestly, I'm here for the drama these girls bring to the table. But, this season is very messy. The girls are out of control & production need to have them in check in order to make the show look more professional. The lip syncs are messy as well & they wanna bring all the dramatics to the lip syncs instead of actually giving a good lip sync. The decisions on who wins, who lands in the bottom & who goes home are very questionable. They need to do better & they need to stop bringing in competitors that they personally know out of the competition because it creates favoritism & we clearly see it.

I really really love RuPaul's Drag Race and all of their franchises, but to have a Drag Race Philippines I'm so proud! This show really takes me back from time and it is the franchise that I can most relate to since I grew up from PH. I'm so proud that we get to show the world what Filipinos are capable of and that we have more right to fight for our freedom. Kudos to the crews and casts! Just one thing, I hope the director learned from this very first season that the cameras are not stable and keeps switching which makes me dizzy. And the lighting, as well as the background which makes me question the runway looks. Anyways, I hope that will be fixed in the next season. It's still enjoyable tho, but it is a plus if it has good direction.

Each episode is very refreshing, and brings a roller coaster of emotions. It showcases the world class talent of drag performers in the Philippines. The best franchise of Drag Race so far. It can even rival the All Stars.

I have been a big fan of Rupauls DragRace since day one and all the franchises. I was so excited when I heard about DragRacePH. Now the world will see how Pinoy Drag Queens are very creative, unique, talented, and funny. I am proud to our Pinoy Queens.

If you are looking at all the other versions and can't decide, Drag Race Philippines is definitely one to check off, I can't get enough of it!
Keep in mind that this is the only version of drag race thats set within a developing country and doesn't have the budgets that are clear in Canada, U. K., America, and so on. In spite of that difference, this version does not hold back at all!!!! Since the Philippines is very much influenced by Western culture, I as an American have been able to relate to more content than I have in other non-English based versions. Plus, half the show is in English so it is really easy to pick up and understand the little nuances !
They are definitely a country with queens who can give a performance and all have lovable, addicting personalities. I stan for Venus Deluxe and Lady Morgana!!!

I am a huge fan of this show franchise, but just watched the first episode of season 2.. only 6 contestants? Maybe there's some twist in episode 2. But I have to say, this isn't anyway near as good as the other shows.
I personally thought the girls looked rather sloppy and not very polished, a few sure and the judge, I didn't like how he talked to the camera so much.. sometimes the dialog seemed shot in fragments . And the host makeup was ruff.. those lips, the color amd shape oi!! Just saying.. to much heaviness on the eye's, could barely see them. Of course I'll continue to watch but I think production could have done better.
