A staple movie about Hollywood
lethtg19 February 2016
For me, it is the best of Jordan's movies . The images and music will bring you to the Hollywood world which Jordan seems to know very well . Any library in the California State should store this video as a memorabilia of the Hollywood wonder time of the 50 & any French embassy or consulate should have the DVD of this movie for the mention of Simone de Beauvoir ' period when she spent time in LA .

For movie's fan , you should rent & watch this movie entirely in order to appreciate it and do it with a quality DVD reader perfect in sound & image; her trailer doesn't show much of the beauty of Hollywood Mouth.

Way to go Jordan ...you need supporters for your good work and for movies watchers , please give her your feedback or likes .....

If you are an aficionado of earlier Hollywood, this movie is great!

I had the opportunity to watch this film again the other day. I was quite struck by the amount of research that Jordan must have done, just to gather the information reported in the film. Her attention to detail is noteworthy. What a trip down Memory Lane seeing all of the Star's homes and the restaurants that read about in books. Director Jordan weaves in so many interesting and relatively unknown facts into the narrative. History buffs, particularly those with an interest in Old Hollywood will learn so much. It is very well directed. The cast is very authentic. Like the first viewing, I found the intricacies of the Mask Making Process utterly fascinating. I am so glad I had the chance to watch it one more time. Great job, Jordan!!

If you are an aficionado of classic movies and actors and actresses from the earlier days of Hollywood or just like movies, you will find Hollywood Mouth most enjoyable. The glimpses of pictures of movie stars and their homes are fun. Director Jordan Mohr has a good eye for Hollywood the place.

Hollywood Mouth tells the story of Berlyn Ferlinghetti being asked to help two strangers, Camille and Gary, sell a Faberge egg. Director Jordan Mohr cleverly weaves interesting facts about Faberge eggs into the script such as they were originally gifts for Czar Nicolas' mother, no one knows how many eggs were made. And did you know that "some were sold at Bullock's- Wilshire' where the stars shopped'"? In the film Berlyn speculates that perhaps the egg might even have been stolen. She takes the Peter Lorre mask to a F/X technician to be duplicated. It is fascinating to watch the process as the technician goes through the intricate steps.

The movie is filled with wonderful photos of people such as James Dean, Peter Lorre, Cary Grant, James Cagney and Joan Crawford. Some of the homes pictured include Gary Cooper's first home that belonged to his parents, the home where Natalie Wood and Robert Wagner lived when she died as well as the homes of so many more. Director Mohr ends the film with a surprise.

User rating way too low...this film is outstanding!

The rating for this film is too low. Based on all the awards it received, the unique way the story is told, the new information that is presented, and the insight into Hollywood, the rating is illogical and makes one call it into question.
