Sex & Nudity

- A man gets a steroid injection in the buttocks. We see his butt from the side.
- A drag queen's fake breasts are shown briefly, and they're referenced again later on in the film.
- Man and woman are naked in a bathtub. Woman's nipple is briefly shown. Man's nipple is seen for an extended period.
- A brief sex scene in bed while she wrapped her legs around the man's waist and some thrusting is visible too. This is right after the scene with them nude in the bathtub.
- For a very brief moment a woman is seen completely naked. She is standing in a tub and a door is closed in front of her. It's barely half a second, if that, but she is in fact completely nude.
- Lady Gaga is seen fully nude briefly. Her breasts, nipples and hairless genitals are visible.
Violence & Gore

- A woman punches a man in the face, and she's later shown with bruised knuckles.
- Jackson wets his pants on stage.

- A man and a woman begin to undress each other in bed. She covers her breasts with her hands, they kiss, and he begins to thrust. When the scene ends it shows them after sex in bed. The man is seen topless for an extended period.
Violence & Gore
- A man hangs himself in his basement with his belt. His found body is not shown but you can see it hanging through the garage window.
Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking
- The main character Jackson Maine is an alcoholic and a drug addict. He is shown smoking marijuana a few times and is also shown crushing and snorting pills. He also does a little bit of steroids. He then has a big meltdown at an awards show which forces him to go to rehab. He eventually rehabilitates but he then slips into drinking again. This eventually leads to him committing suicide.
Frightening & Intense Scenes
- One of the main characters takes their own life (which occurs off-screen) and you see the effects leading up to and after this.
- Jackson's death may be triggering to those who have lost a loved one to suicide or suffer from depression.
