For Nigeria's first time travel and family adventure movie it's a lovely watch. Has its flaws, but also really enjoyable. With this, we hope nollywood delivers more movies of this nature.

Not A Bad Time Travel Movie

I stumbled across this on NetFlix and, being a sucker for a time travel story, I started watching it.
About a quarter of the way through I broke down and turned on the subtitles because, being an American with little exposure to the Nigerian accent, I could barely understand what they were saying.
The first two thirds are kind of cringe inducing, you know that the main characters are making a HUGE mistake with pretty much every decision they make, and you pretty much know what's going to happen as a result. And you'd be right.
The surprises don't come until about the last twenty minutes or so with the way they manage to think their way around the "Once you change your fate, you can never change it back" problem.
Overall I wouldn't say this was a good movie, but it was surprisingly heartwarming by the end. Worth a watch.

So glad we finally gave Day Of Destiny a chance because it was such a blast!
This movie was packed with great comedy, performance, and production. We were hooked from start to finish
DELICIOUS
-Congratulation to the casting director for picking the right people. There were a number of fresh faces that did so well, notably Gbemi Akinlade, OG Tega, and Olumide Owuru
-Shout out to Ini Dima-Okojie and Broda Shaggi for adding a special touch
-An impeccable work executed on the visual effects; it made the story believable
-A big thank you to the art direction team for enhancing Day of Destiny with a historical design
-Akay Mason and Abosi Ogba led us on a journey to the past, they knew when to introduce laughter, seriousness, and morals.
-Kudos to a brilliant screenplay; every actor's talent was properly utilized. We all had an idea of the end of the movie, but just didn't know how to get there due to great twists
Bland Nothing bland found.

Can it be better. Hell yeah
But as one of the pioneer sci-fi movies, it was good. The messaging was apt & the lapses in some scenes understable per the end of the movie. It's cool.
Really didn't know what to expect.
Would watch more stuff in this genre from Naija.
