The Puppet Master horror film franchise has had a long run! Today we have the trailer for the 11th film in the franchise, Puppet Master: Axis Termination, and depending on how you feel about the franchise, this new movie could look good or it could look like a piece of trash.
I actually enjoyed watching the first few movies in the franchise. They were kinda fun, but I stopped watching after Puppet Master III: Toulon's Revenge. It's not that I didn't like watching the films because I did. I enjoyed the campiness of them. I just stopped keeping up with them and now they are up to eleven movies! There's obviously a market for these films.
Puppet Master: Axis Termination looks exactly like what I would expect from the film. Here's the synopsis:

Since its inception in 1989, the Puppet Master series has been one of my go-to horror series. With classic characters like Blade, Jester, Pinhead, Tunneler and Leech Woman the Full Moon franchise was a staple of my video-store youth and a staple of my home cinema collection today. And now the series is returning for yet another installment – the 11th – once again directed by Charles Band, Puppet Master: Axis Termination.<
Set in Berlin during World War II, Puppet Master: Axis Termination continues the Axis Trilogy, which began with Puppet Master: Axis of Evil and Puppet Master: Axis Rising. – all of which are set in the same time period as David DeCoteau’s classic Puppet Master III: Toulon’s Revenge.
With Band currently running a crowdfunding campaign for Puppet Master: Axis Termination , the Full Moon founder has released some fantastic new promo artwork. Check it out below:...

The Puppet Master series is very dear to my heart. Discovering the films many years ago as a teenager browsing the shelves of my local video store, I have grown up with the franchise, following it through thick and thin, good and bad… I’ve owned every iteration of the films on rental VHS, sell-thru VHS, DVD and now, thanks to the good folks at 88 Films, on Blu-ray.
Following the release of the original Puppet Master back in August, 88 Films are following up with the two immediate sequels, Puppet Master 2, which expanded the roster of puppets with one of my favourites, Torch, and Puppet Master 3: Toulon’s Revenge, which many consider to be the pinnacle of the series and which has since spawned two related sequels of its own in the recent “puppets vs. nazis” flicks Puppet Master: Axis of Evil and Puppet Master X: Axis Rising (which...

Though details regarding the plot to Full Moon’s latest Puppet Master sequel remain sketchy, Charles Band is slowly unveiling some of the newest homicidal marionettes set to rampage in Puppet Master X: Axis Rising. The newest addition to the Puppet Master family has just been unveiled, and she’s a real bombshell.
The first new puppet to be revealed back at the beginning of December was the tank-like “Blitzkrieg”. Continuing with the Nazi fetish theme of the latest Puppet Master offerings, “Bombshell” looks less a Puppet Master puppet and more an Ilsa, She-Wolf of the SS Barbie doll.
Puppet Master X: Axis Rising, one can only presume, picks up where the previous Puppet Master: Axis of Evil left off. One can also only presume that shooting on the sequel is going to begin... eventually.

If you got past the Puppet Master X part and are still reading, I'll weave you a tale of Nazis, my child...
Iron Sky is going to be the best movie ever made, by anyone, and that includes Citizen Kane.
Why? Because it is about Nazis. Any movie about Nazis that isn't Just about the Holocaust is an awesome, unforgettable enjoyment.
Iron Sky is a sci-fi/comedy directed by Timo Vuorensola and is due to come out in April 2012 in the United States. They say "theatrically" but... I mean, that's debatable. They might just be renting a theater for one night. Or who knows? Maybe this'll be one of those Paranormal Activity things and it ends up in your local $15-a-ticket Arclight scamhouse? In any case, it's screening at Berlinale (that's a fancy European film festival) in November 2012, so chances are reviews will be flying from that point.

It was just a month ago that Charles Band introduced plans for a tenth Puppet Master movie to be called Puppet Master Forever. That title has since transformed into Puppet Master X: Axis Rising, and today we’re getting our first glimpse at the newest member of the Puppet Master family: Blitzkrieg.
Full Moon has revealed the first look at Blitzkrieg, a very un-puppet-like puppet debuting in the newest sequel. Cool looking, yes, but it honestly looks less like something that belongs in a Puppet Master movie and more like a motorized weapon system C.O.B.R.A. would be setting loose on the world in a steampunk version of G.I. Joe.
Little if anything else is known about Puppet Master X: Axis Rising aside from the assumption based on the title alone that it will pick up where Puppet Master: Axis of Evil (review here) left off.

Love him or hate him, one thing is for sure: Director David DeCoteau is a legend in the horror entertainment field. That can't be denied. He's the man responsible for 80's camp classics such as Nightmare Sisters and Sorority Babes in the Slimeball Bowl-o-Rama. Sorority Babes In The Slimeball Bowl-o-Rama gathered a once in a lifetime B movie cast including Linnea Quigley (The Return of the Living Dead), Brinke Stevens (Grandma's House), Michelle Bauer (Hollywood Chainsaw Hookers), Robin Stille (The Slumber Party Massacre), Hal Havins (Night of the Demons), and George 'Buck' Flower (They Live). While Sorority Babes was one of the most downright fun horror films of the 80's, another element stood out about the film, one that would go on to shape and define David DeCoteau's career. See, David DeCoteau cast this complete unknown named Andras Jones in the lead role. Right off the bat, you could...

Levi Fiehler is a bright up and coming actor that landed the lead role in his very first feature film, Puppet Master: Axis of Evil. He will also appear in the film Wolf Town about a group of friends trapped in a small ghost town by a pack of hungry wolves. I had the chance to ask him a few questions about Puppet Master. Here's what he had to say:
How familiar were you with the Puppet Master films before you became involved with this film?
I had definitely heard of the Puppet Master movies and have very early memories of seeing the VHS cover of PM3 at the rental store as a kid, but I had never actually seen any of them until I got cast in this role.
How did you become attached to this film and what attracted you to it?
I actually auditioned for the role...

It was back in January when we brought you exclusive images for the upcoming teens vs. wolves thriller Wolf Town. The first teaser trailer for the lupine thriller has now arrived for us to wolf down. Yeah, I actually went there with that awful pun. With wit like that I could be the next Friedberg or Seltzer.
Kyle, a shy college student, finds himself and three of his friends trapped in an old Western ghost town by a pack of ferocious wolves and has to overcome his personal fears to confront the wolves and lead his friends to safety.
Wolf Town is directed by John Rebel, co-written by Paul Hart-Wilden, Asabi Lee, and Roel Reine, and starring Alicia Ziegler (Lake Placid 2), Josh Kelly ("Circle of Eight"), Max Adler ("Glee"), and Levi Fiehler (Puppet Master: Axis of Evil).
Pay attention, Dutch readers. According to IMDb, Wolf Town will be released...

The story of Puppet Master continues… this time in the 1940s. Danny Coogan, a young man in his early 20s, battles feelings of unfitness due to complications from having polio as the rest of his peers ship off to fight in WWII. While working and residing at the Bodega Bay Inn, Coogan’s life is changed forever when he meets Andre Toulon. After Toulon’s suicide in order to escape capture by the Nazis, Coogan begins to take care of Toulon’s “string-less puppets” and seek revenge against the Nazis.
