This episode 2 from season 3 of "Shudder's" "Creepshow" series features two interesting tales called "Skeletons in the Closet/Familiar". As both feature gore, blood, and revenge with parody and homage to old horror.
"Skeletons in the Closet" is set out in Hollywood near the walk of fame and involves a shop owner who collects old vintage props and merchandise from classic films mostly horror one's(it was nice seeing franchises like "Halloween", "Friday the 13th", and "Psycho" being featured.) And the store is now ran by the son of it's past owner however lurking around is the original owner's rival( the good James Remar) who poses a threat for collection supremacy! This tale twist with blood and the skeletons come off the prop stage to battle and play a key role! Overall good well done tale that represents vintage horror.
Then "Familiar" is somewhat of a drag as it involves a couple a woman and man named Jackson who take up the game and advice of a palm reader only Jackson can't seem to escape his fears in the form of a demon, the question is will the future of his palm hold up with the truth!? Also "The Crate" is represented in fine parody like form!
Overall again another pretty good well done episode of the series that has the old classic homage feel of parody to old films, as it's represented with revenge, twist, blood, and gore.
