A great story

The story has been continuesly good and suspence full and we are getting to know about chalava as per the series progresses. We can see the protagonist believes being tested. The protag is also influenced by his personal life making him bit more frustrated .

Watched just 3 eps. So lets see.

Breath of originality where everything is copy of copy of copy

First of awesome cinematography and background score. Also the sound track was amazing.

The world building and the feel of manmade fear is created very well.

Story line was good, could have been better.

Now the bad thing:

Diolouge are very poor for the all the good things it offers. Just local dialect touch or some shared vocabulary across the characters would been better.

The conversation rather feel "very scripted" which pulls you back from the otherwise awesome immersion in the world of chalava.

Other than this it's was good watch.

Verdict : Definitely watch this show you won't be disappointed, just bear the diouloges initially .

Anything the writers have narrated and how did the makers made it only god knows

The series is in small episodes that's the best part but you will feel they are forcibly dragging to end it..the pace is so slow that you will go to sleep while watching..the dialogues were spoken in such a slow manner as if the actors are practising for speaking a new language

Here people have given 10 stars probably they might be connected to the makers or stars but to tell you by doing this you are cheating with them in fact you should make them aware about what they have made and do not spoil their names and come up with good product.

Why these reviews? I didn't like the show at all as neither it was horror nor thriller. Anything and everything is happening in the show, God knows how i sat through the whole season only because of the reviews just waiting that something will happen. So the story is simple that some policemen taking a very scary criminal to shift him in some other prison but the policemen start dying one by one under mysterious circumstances.

The story and the director himself was confused that whether it was a horror or a thriller. No character had any depth in it everyone was there just to die and give overdramatised expressions. Only thing that is to be appreciated is the effort that the production team and these guys took to give visually good series like experience but they fell flat in the story, acting and direction.

Man, I watched the show after looking at the review here, I mean honestly, I was bored, weak storyline, weak acting, content wise, there's absolutely nothing, I can narrate the entire story in 10 mins, not sure why they made 5 episodes out of it. It's not thriller, nor horror, not sure what it is.

The chalava character build up is good, but the character himself is shoddy, virendar was the only policeman who was able to convenience me that yes, he's playing a cop's character, no one else, and as matic policeman, really? There are so many gaps in the storyline, how did he escaped the first time, how was he caught again and so on, its really not worth time.

Someone Said on Internet: "If you dont like me and still watch everything I do, Then you are fan." And Sorry to say but, I fall under the same fan catogory.

** YOU CAN WATCH THE SERIES AT 2X SPEED**

The trailer was great. As if we are about to watch something great.

But the series in the middle is streached like a Chewing Gum.

And the end is so un satisfactory. Like they just wanted to end it so did it anyway. Hope fan theories videos of "Ending Explained" emerge soon.

Except Ashish, no depth to any character. Some scence dumb down to a level that if it is intended to think Audience cant understand anything.

Pace of the whole show is so unexpected. Nothing is happing for a long time and suddently somehting happens that we would definatly miss if we try to skip and watch the boring scence.

Songs Great Cinematograpy Great Produciton Value: Youtube Level Only, The prop animal dosn't even look real.

I can go on more, I so much dislike the show, but overall love it as well for the teams hardwork.

Suspense full story with brilliant character development & the top notch acting by everyone! The hard work & the effort of the whole DK FILMS Team is truly shining in this show. Pehla Chakravyuh "Chalava" is a must watch.

Excellent plot ruined by bad acting

1st & 2nd episodes very bad script , a lot of over acting by Ashaay & Ruturaj. From 3rd episode Ashaay's acting was excellent till the last. The so called antagonist and all the rest of the policemen did a superb job and their acting was worthy to be praised. Ashaay's wife & murari's acting were very very very bad. The actors in the post credit scene were also superb and natural in their acting. Ruturaj's acting was some what better only in the last episode at 18:45(disney hotstar). The plot was superb and felt fresh. 4 stars are only for the plot, the antagonist & policemen who went in the van.

Have been reading about the webseries from a long now.. they were saying it's new. And an Indian YouTuber has created it. So, I was skeptical. But watching the trailer, changed my perspective. It is one of the best trailer and the series looks promising. Thrilling, Mysterious, and definitely a masterpiece.

Bad writing with many loopholes.

Who the hell leaves door of prison vehicle open and romes around. Over use of fear. Bad acting and should I say overacting, speciall over use of nervousness , will keep you asking to yourself, are policemen such incompetent and nervous, doesn't they have a physiological evaluation quite periodically. Overall far away from reality. A total waste of time and frankly irritating.

If you love quality web series, like it's contemporary series Ex. Special ops, khakee etc , please don't watch it, you'll spoil your mood and will actually waste your time...

It's a full of thriller and adventure series. It's sogs are top notch. It's direction and color contrast is very impressive. Dushyant Kapoor's Direction nailed it and his song is very impressive.

I am following DK films for a very long time and they deserve all the support and success not because they are indie but coz they create quality content. The series has kept me on my toes as to what's going to go down. It is an amazing dark tale with twists and turns that will keep you hooked till the end and the amazing music of Neelkanth Pathak is a cherry on the top. Bhasad hai is on my playlist and on repeat!!! Love the work.

I have never seen a webseries like this,getting goosebumps while watching. Watched all episodes on YouTube without any skip and now waiting and excited for final episode. I have watched all series and videos by DK FILMS and this is one of the best series by them than other contents. And, because of hard works of Dushyant Kapoor and his team now it's become India's no.1 drama thriller series filled with betrayal. It is a perfect series with good plots of the story,dialogues,screens,sound effects,song,etc and this series songs make goosebumps and also make feels thrilled which makes it to watch full episodes without skiping. Hat's Up to Dushyant Kapoor and his team for their great work. Hope they will also make the release of it's second season with more suspenced,thrilled story than this season and also excited for other upcoming video and series by DK FILMS.

First time ever we are watching story like this with full of suspense and making us awaiting for new episode. First of all congratulations to Chalava Team director and writer and artist who did great job, performance in making this series so good, specially the negative role actor is fit to this role, and the village scenario is too good to make it Horror and as per requirements. Looking forward for more new Season continue to this. It's full of suspense , crime, black magic and how a person can be so negative for others through which surrounded things collapse and kill each other...I recommend you to watch and enjoy this suspense thriller story.
