The Food Network did what they had to do on June 21, cutting ties with Paula Deen after she admitted in a deposition to using the N-word and glorified slavery by stating that she once wanted to host a Civil War-era wedding party that featured only black servers. Even though the Food Network’s decision not renew Paula’s contract seems more than reasonable, a whole slew of Paula supporters took to Facebook to voice their outrage. Do they have a point?
