Bad copy

Just a bad copy of the Mexican series, and the original was not as good as they need to be remarkable.

You can watch the original if you like this kind of movies, don't lose your time in something not original.

Disconcerting and lousy film dealing with a choral story of couples swapping
ma-cortes14 February 2023
. Eight friends, all in stable relationships, venture into a game of sexual discovery by exchanging couples while trying to free themselves from their daily routines and add a spice to their love lives. Here with the grace that it is the keys that choose such an exchange.

El Juego de las Llaves is a drama-comedy based on the lives of millions of couples with intimacy problems driven by long-term monogamy, self-fulfillment, and desire , but it is not too funny in comedy and nothing new in drama. The film, inspired by a Mexican series , is humorous as well as dramatic at times , and the conflicts, with dissatisfaction, routine, various complexes tend to sexploitation more than a mature vision of couple problems and family life.

The plot brings together different typologies in a group of friends/acquaintances, none with much interest, and, derived from the game that the film is titled, based on a Mexican series in 18 episodes , configuring relationships that manifest new affinities and accentuate the differences and problems of the old ones. The series focuses on the story of four couples, all in stable relationships, who venture into a game of sexual discovery by exchanging spouses while trying to free themselves from their daily routines and spice up their love lives. As each travels through his or her own secret desires, the game takes on a life of its own and the couples must face the impact of their decisions and their own perspectives on sexuality.

The film mingles irony , chuckles , giggles , disgusting comedy and numerous sex jokes . And of course , there's very bad taste , being the extreme when reaching a climax of orgy in an "Eyes Wide Shut" type scenario. The comedy is cheesy and gross-out but has some funny but brief moments here and there . The film is an embarrassing and absurd mess , the plot is ridiculous and monotonous and is formed by various humor set pieces , quite disagreeable and graceless . There are some steamy hot scenes and some memorable and hilarious happenings of dirty humor which will rejoice the rogue aficionados to these kinds of things . Neither the players , nor the filmmaking seem to be fine , and the storyline is utterly embarrassing , but , curiously , it has some amusing moments as well. Mediocre performances from a relatively known cast , such as Eva Ugarte , Fernando Guallar, Tamar Novas, María Castro with exception for Miren Ibarguren who nowadays is considered to be the new queen of the Spanish comedy , giving nice acting , as usual .

The motion picture was badly directed by Vicente Villanueva. He is a good artisan , writer, producer and filmmaker, who has directed shorts as Eres, Heteroxesuales y casados, and a few films such as ¨Lo contrario al amor¨ and ¨Born to win with¨ Alejandra Jimenez and Victoria Abril , being ¨TOC TOC¨ his greatest hit. And this ¨El juego de las llaves¨ is his worst film . Rating : 3.5/10 . Only for Spanish comedy enthusiasts.
