When Holly Bonner was diagnosed with breast cancer at just 19 years old, she thought it would be the toughest fight of her life. But she had no idea how many more times she would be tested.
After being in and out of remission throughout her twenties, she was told at 26 years old that she had Paget’s disease of the breast, a rare type of cancer involving the skin of the nipple. The medication she used to treat the disease had a less than 2 percent chance of impacting her eyesight. But two years later, she began experiencing vision loss.

Imagine being trapped in space…alone…for 90 years, sounds like anybody’s worst nightmare. That’s exactly what Chris Pratt and Jennifer Lawrence might endure if they don’t find a way back to earth in their upcoming film Passengers.
On-board the Starship Avalon, over 5000 passengers journey to a distant planet to start a better life. Using hibernation pods, their age and health is preserved as the trip takes 120 years to complete. But after a freak accident, Jim Preston (Pratt) and Aurora (Lawrence) are woken from their pods 90 years before the rest of the ship.
With the release of Passengers, we want to see if you’re an expert on other space movies. Visually stunning, adventurous, and dramatic, these space movies have all made an impact on the big screen.

"Reach for the Stars" is a supercut of space exploration films that is cut to the trailer of Christopher Nolan’s Interstellar. The video was created by Movieclips, and some of the movies included in it are 2001: A Space Odyssey, Apollo 13, The Right Stuff, several Star Trek films, and even George Méliès classic 1902 feature, A Trip to the Moon. I also included the Interstellar trailer that the video was cut to so that you could compare if you wanted.
I’m a huge fan of this type of movie, as I’ve always been fascinated by space exploration and astronomy. Interstellar is easily one of my favorites. It’s strange for me to see so many mixed reviews for it, but I guess some people just couldn’t handle the greatness of it.

Now that Interstellar is in theaters all over the place, why not take a look at some of the big films that boldly went to space before. A video from Movie Clips uses the voiceover from Matthew McConaughey we've heard dozens of times in the trailer for Christopher Nolan's ambitious space epic, and mashes it up with footage from films like the influential 2001: A Space Odyssey, last year's Gravity, the iconic Star Trek: Wrath of Kahn (and some of the other franchise films), the true story of Apollo 13 and a few more. It's not all that inclusive of tons of sci-fi films, but it's still a pretty nicely edited piece of work. Watch! Here's Reach for the Stars: An Interstellar Space Travel Mash-Up from Movie Clips: For more on Interstellar, see fan-art posters, five new TV spots, third official trailer and the official website. Christopher Nolan’s Interstellar opens this week, and it’s the latest in a long line of films to take us earthlings beyond the stars and into the vastness of a cosmos we can’t even begin to fathom. The great unknown of space has long been a favorite topic for writers and filmmakers alike –and this new mash-up from the folks over at Movie Clips highlights some of the best moments in the history of the subgenre. Using Matthew McConaughey’s Interstellar narration, the clip (titled Reach for the Stars) uses scenes from movies like 2001: A Space Odyssey, Apollo 13 and various Star Trek entries to highlight mankind’s fascination with boldly going where no man has gone before. There’s a genuine sense of majesty and gravitas in...

Do you know what today is? It just happens to be the 15th anniversary of Miami 7, a little TV show about a cheery pop band that premiered in Britain in the spring of ‘99.
When S Club 7 in Miami came to the States on Fox Family (yes, Fox Family) a few months later, I had no idea who these people were or whether they were famous in Britain. Back then, children couldn’t look up transcontinental artists on Wikipedia, and there was certainly no Encarta entry for S Club 7. But for whatever reason, I accidentally grew to love...

Apparently, Justin Bieber is so important that he deserves not one, but two movies to showcase his 19 year old life. Yes, that’s right, despite not even being old enough to drink legally in the United States, the pop sensation is the subject of a second documentary that will be hitting theatres on Christmas Day.
Titled Justin Bieber’s Believe, Jon M. Chu (who helmed the singer’s last film, Never Say Never), will be returning to the director’s seat and today, a brand new poster for the movie was released.
Presumably, Justin Bieber’s Believe will be more of the same in that it will tell us why the Biebs is so great and why he’s worthy of all the praise being heaped upon him by teenage girls around the world. The film will also be in 3D, so that, you know, Bieber and his producers can...

When it was announced that Samantha Barks had beat out bold-faced names like Taylor Swift, Lea Michele and more to land the highly coveted role of Eponine in Universal's Les Miserables big screen musical, many people said, "Who?" Although those uneducated masses quickly learned that Barks was the beauty who brought the role to life, 8 times a week, in London's West End.
And now that everyone has seen her heart-breaking performance on the big screen, the question is no longer "Who?" but "When?" As in, "When can we see her again?" To find out more about the woman behind the big voice, ETonline caught up with Samantha Barks to reflect upon her Les Mis experience and find out which role, besides Eponine, she'd like to play next!
ETonline: You'd spent more than a year playing Eponine on stage -- but did playing her on film give you any new insight into the character?
Samantha Barks: Oh yes...

Okay, so Daniel Craig picked Rihanna over Beyonce to portray a future Bond girl in an interview because Riri is “dirtier.” First of all, duh. Second of all, Bey has probably already learned her lesson from acting across from Mr. Mike Myers in Goldmember. While we draw up a pitch for our RiRi-centric Skyfall sequel (Ugh, why did Denise Richards have to take the Bond girl name Dr. Christmas Jones? Ruin our plans, why don’t you?), peep our 5 fantasy picks for our Bond girls. (Other than Rihanna, of course.) (Duuuuuh.)
1) Zoe Saldana
Frankly, we find it bizarre Saldana hasn’t been a Bond girl across from Daniel Craig already. Colombiana? Avatar? Star Trek? If there’s a movie where someone has to slow-motion jump away from an explosion, chances are Zoe was already in it. Aaaaaaaand killed it.
2) Kate Upton

Will.i.am has a leg up on most pop stars.
Instead of having to premiere his newest single on Earth (the least rock n' roll of all the solar system's telluric planets), he teamed up with Nasa to release "Reach For The Stars" by blasting it over the speakers on the Mars Curiosity Rover.
Will.i.am's decision to debut his song in space wasn't an exercise in over-the-top rock star excess (well, it wasn't only an exercise in over-the-top rock star excess). It was also part of an effort by the musician to promote science education among America's youth.

Pasadena, Calif. — Will.i.am has premiered his new single – from Mars.
The Nasa rover Curiosity beamed to Earth his new song "Reach for the Stars" on Tuesday in the first music broadcast from another planet, to the delight of students who gathered at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory to listen.
The song had been uploaded to the rover, which landed near the equator of Mars, and played back – a journey of some 700 million miles.
The musician, who promotes science and mathematics education, was among more than a dozen celebrities who were invited to Jpl to watch Curiosity's landing earlier this month. Others included Wil Wheaton, Seth Green and Morgan Freeman.
In 2008, Nasa beamed the Beatles' "Across the Universe" into the cosmos to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the song.

Yes, the Curiosity rover played the new will.i.am single "Reach for the Stars" on Mars today, as promised. Well, kind of. In point of fact, though the rover beamed the song premiere to Earth, will.i.am couldn't actually be heard on the Red Planet, reports the Times: "The rover does not have speakers to broadcast music to its surrounding landscape, and the thin Martian air would have distorted the sound." Mars, still a Top-40-free zone.

With the success of the Olympics this year it’s easy to cast your mind back to 1992 and the fantastic Summerslam card that saw Bret Hart main event in an Intercontinental title contest against the late British Bulldog. How things have changed. Twenty years later and the once prestigious Intercontinental strap is now so downgraded in importance that it may as well not exist.
This year, Summerslam will focus not on championships or great technical contests but instead on a semi-retired ‘suit’ and an ex-mma champion who will do anything he’s asked given the payoff he’s receiving slugging it out in a pseudo power struggle that will have minimal impact on the overall product, at least from a title stand point. Be that as it may, the Summerslam main event has been hotly anticipated for months and it’s finally with us.

James Franco will be in a mutli-episode arc on Nick at Nite's upcoming primetime soap Hollywood Heights, the network announced today. What magic is this! The show, formerly known as Reach for the Stars, is based on a Mexican series about a shy girl who becomes a pop star after winning a songwriting competition. Along the way, she befriends a mega-rock-star — who is of course her celebrity crush. Heights premieres in June and will air five nights a week, telenovela style, but it's not clear yet when Franco's arc starts or what his role entails. If there's a God in TV heaven, though, it's someone incredibly sage and hilarious.

The kids and family-focused cable channel laid out an aggressive plan of original and returning series, movies and more today as part of its advertiser update in New York. Highlights include a new music-themed series, Rags, debuting this spring; a revival of the 1990s game show Figure It Out that will air later this year; an animated series — The Legend Of Korra — based on the Avatar: The Last Airbender animated franchise that debuts April 14 as part of the channel’s Saturday morning kids block; 26 episodes of the new CG-animated series Raving Rabbids, based on the video game of the same name; and, as revealed first by Deadline earlier today, the pickup of the 26-episode comedy series Marvin, Marvin, starring Internet celebrity Lucas Cruikshank (his Fred shorts are popular among kids). The network also confirmed that Nickelodeon is developing a new series about Rachel Crow, one of the stars from the...

Here comes Lady Gaga in all of her meat-dress glory. And there she goes in her space-age egg. She's wild, innovative, and other-worldly. She's the superhero in all of us.
As a Millennial, I think my generation is more driven, confident, and self-aware than Gen-Xers, Boomers, or any other prior. Our parents were more friends than authority figures. They preached the mantra, "Reach for the stars; you're a star." Facebook, Twitter and YouTube amplified how we express ourselves: real-time, "Real World" confessionals.
From her Haus of Gaga to her cheekbone horns, Gaga is nothing less than her unapologetic self. With 35 million Facebook fans, 10 million Twitter followers and an album release that slowed iTunes to a crawl, she embodies the confidence, drive and self-awareness seen endemic to my generation. And in her MTV documentary, "Inside the Outside," her soft-spoken, self-exploration proves that she reflects and leads our generation.

This is a Recap of Top Chef D.C. (Season 7), Episode 12, entitled “Gastro-Nauts”, originally airing September 1, 2010. I was out of this world galaxy space moon asteroid quasar surprised by the outcome of this week’s episode. It’s the last episode before the Finale, so it’s time to ditch the painful food puns and gimmicky challenges and get to some real cooking… …Or maybe it’s time to the most do those things. Before we get to the supergimmick, it’s Quickfire time, and this week the chefs welcome Dana Corwin of Food & Wine magazine by saying how much attention they pay to wine. Wine is one of Angelo’s biggest passions, obviously, because he’s kind of a D-bag. This is also the final high-stakes Quickfire, and the winner gets to go to London for 6 days courtesy of the London Hilton. Angelo wins the wine challenge, obviously, because...

Cat Deeley's hosting gig on So You Think You Can Dance acquaints her with talents who want a quick rise to stardom, but her beginnings in TV happened just as swiftly. The 33-year-old star landed an on-air job in her native UK after sending one self-made audition tape to MTV. That job led to countless others, including hosting duties on Brit reality series The Record of the Year and Reach for the Stars. Now that she emcees the Us and UK versions of So You Think You Can Dance, Deeley seems poised for a universal takeover. Ahead of Sytycd's seventh season premiere tonight on Fox, Deeley spoke with Movieline about her academic past, Emmy aspirations, and how the show will be different without Mary Murphy as a permanent judge.
