Leonard Lake and Charles Ng paired together to become a deadly pair of serial killers in California in the 1980s. They held captives in a homemade bunker until they would ultimately murder them. Their victims included men, women, and children. One of the most chilling aspects of their crimes is that they videotaped much of them. Christian Longo was raised in a very strict Jehovah's Witness household. He would marry at an early age and would soon have three children. Christian had an obsession with the good life but unfortunately he didn't have the means to have everything he wanted. To friends and family, the Longo family was doing well. David Parker Ray aka "The ToyBox Killer" was a convicted serial rapist and a suspected serial killer. While no bodies have ever been found, the evidence points to a body count that ranges from 14-60 people. Ray targeted women and used various ways to get them back to what he called his ToyBox. This ToyBox was a homemade torture chamber that Ray filled with many different types of torture implements.

Danny Harold Rolling was a convicted serial killer that was also known as the "Gainesville Ripper". Rolling terrorized the college town of Gainesville in 1990 by committing 5 horrific murders. These were not the only murders that Rolling committed but they are those that he is the most infamous for committing.

Tommy Lynn Sells was a prolific serial killer who traveled the country extensively killing indiscriminately along the way. Because of his extensive travel and the fact that he murdered all over the country he is often referred to as the "Coast to Coast" killer.

The Chicago Ripper Crew was comprised of four men who committed unspeakable murders. They were responsible for the disappearances of at least 18 women in Illinois in the early 80s. They formed what would be best described as a satanic cult and developed their own sick rituals.

Jerome "Jerry" Brudos was an American serial killer. He was also known as the "lust killer" and the "shoe fetish slayer". The latter name might be a much more accurate and descriptive nickname for Brudos. But that nickname doesn't even begin to depict the true horror behind Jerry Brudos. Robert Pickton is one of Canada's most notorious serial killers. He has admitted murdering as many as 49 but the numbers may be higher. Pickton preyed on the vulnerable in Vancouver's Eastside. Pickton owned a pig farm which he used to his advantage in disposing of the bodies of the many that he murdered. Pickton's early life may have led to his later behavior and the police may have been able to end his reign of terror much earlier.

December 8th, 2000 was the beginning of a week long reign of terror committed by brothers Reginald and Jonathan Carr. Israel Keyes has been called by FBI profilers as one of the most methodical and cunning serial killers of modern times. Keyes has admitted to 10 murders but police and the FBI think they are able to tie his movements to at least 36. The fact is the number could be much higher. Keyes planned his murders down to the smallest details. He would hide caches of his murder tools in various locations as much as 2 years in advance of a murder. He would fly and drive very long distances to avoid any trail leading back to him. He had developed an ironclad set of rules by which he operated. A very intelligent monster. The randomness of his victims, his meticulous planning, and flawless execution allowed Keyes to operate in the shadows for at least 14 years. His undoing would result from not following his rules that he had set to the letter.

Jeremy Bryan Jones would start out his murderous career in Oklahoma at the young age of 19. After finally being apprehended he would confess to 20 murders spanning 13 years. The problem with many of his confessions is that police had a hard time finding the evidence to link him to the murders outside of just the confession. Jones was a meth addict and blamed his actions on the drug. He would cultivate a 2nd life while on the run as a fugitive. There is no doubt that Jones was a monster. The question is how many people did he actually murder and how many lives did he ruin? How did Jones elude the police for such a long period of time? How many of his confessions are actually true and did he make some of them up to get extra perks while in jail?

Christopher Bernard Wilder, also known as The Beauty Queen Killer, was a serial killer who abducted and raped at least twelve women, killing at least eight of them, during a six-week cross-country crime spree in the United States of America in early 1984. His series of murders began in Florida on February 26, 1984, and continued across the country through Texas, Oklahoma, Colorado, Nevada, California and New York; his early childhood, his MO, and the techniques he used to lure his victims. We also delve into the many crimes that he may be linked to across the country and back in his native Australia. Wilder was a cunning predator who would stop at nothing to satisfy his demented urges. It is very likely that his final murder count is much higher than has been proven.

Arthur Shawcross was an American serial killer who was given the moniker of "The Genesee River Killer" among many others. The stories that he would tell would be so fantastic that it is hard to separate fact from fiction. What is a fact is that the murders that Shawcross committed rank up there with some of the most horrific ever on record. Shawcross had two different chapters in his life. He was incarcerated in the early 1970s for committing some very brutal murders. Somehow he was paroled in the 1980s which allowed him to embark on another murder spree. How did the system allow this brutal human being back out on the streets again?

What happened during their early years that would lead them down the path of combining forces to act out on these fantasies?

In the 1980s, Dorothea Puente ran a boarding house for tenants many of whom were elderly or mentally disabled. On the outside it appeared that Puente was providing a much needed service to individuals that may have had no where else to turn. Michael Swango, also known as Dr Death, is an American doctor who is believed to be responsible for as many as 60 deaths throughout the 1980s and 1990s. Swango targeted both patients and colleagues in the United States and abroad as he changed jobs, states, and even countries. How was he able to get away with his actions for such a long period of time? How did his known past not prevent him from getting job after job? How did the system fail to realize what Swango, who held such a powerful position within society, was doing through the years?

Colin Ferguson came to believe that other people and even more so other races were keeping him from reaching his desired station in life. On December 7th, 1993 he decided to board a commuter train out of New York City and would ultimately open fire on the passengers killing 7 and seriously wounding 19. Ferguson's upbringing in Jamaica, his journey to the United States, and the events that transpired in his life that lead to his downward spiral. How was Ferguson able to obtain the gun that he used to commit this tragic mass murder? Ferguson chose to represent himself at trial which led to some very bizarre moments. Robert Charles Browne had an IQ of 140 and was described by many as polite and courteous. But Browne had a quick temper and a rage that would bubble up to the surface. After being tied to a murder in Colorado, Browne will lead investigators down a cryptic path of trying to tie him to 47 other murders that he says he committed. If his claims are true this would make Robert Browne one of the most prolific serial killers in American history.

England. One of their more notorious serial killers. Peter Sutcliffe terrorized Yorkshire in the late 1970s/early 1980s and was dubbed the Yorkshire Ripper by the press. Over a 5 year period, Sutcliffe would murder 13 women and attempt to kill another 7. Police believe that he could be responsible for many more attacks. His MO involved a combination of hammers, knives, and screwdrivers. One fascinating aspect of this case is how it was handled by the police. They would come under incredible scrutiny for a series of bad decisions that would allow Sutcliffe to continue to kill many more women.

Lyle and Erik Menendez were born into a life of privilege. They would have the finest of everything growing up. Their father Jose was a high powered media executive who had a reputation for doing anything necessary to get what he wanted. Their mother Kitty was a stay at home mom. Jose ran the family with an iron fist. He expected excellence in all areas from Lyle and Erik and this would become a constant theme in their life, one they would not be able to live up to. On August 20th, 1989, the brothers would brutally murder both of their parents inside their home. Their attempts to get away with the murders would only work for a short while. They would tell more than one person what they had done but it would be one person in particular that would provide the police with the information that they needed. But this case is not a whodunit. What was the real motive behind the killing and was one brother pushing the other?

This is the continuation and finale to the Menendez brothers murder saga. Now comes the arrest of Lyle and Erik Menendez and the circumstances around each arrest. She would meet the slick talking Contstanzo and her life would never be the same. When a college student on spring break goes missing, Police from both Mexico and the US are involved in finding him. But what they discover is that Constanzo is the leader of a cult and that he has been involved in selling religious potions that require human sacrifice.

David Berkowitz would terrorize New York City in 1976 and 1977, murder 6 people, injure even more, and would become known as "The .44 Caliber Killer" and "The Son of Sam". Berkowitz would target women with long dark hair prompting women all over New York City to cut their hair, dye their hair, or wear wigs to stay off the killer's radar. Berkowitz blamed his killings on demonic possession and said that he took orders to kill from a neighbor's dog. The reasons he gave for the murders and the media hype surrounding the panic in New York City would propel his infamy.

Kenneth Bianchi and Angelo Buono were cousins that teamed up to murder 10 young women in Los Angeles in a four month span in the late 1970s. The murders were cruel and tragic. The investigation into the murders and the bizarre way that the two cousins were linked is fascinating. A media circus would ensue after their capture and the trial would be one of longest and most expensive in California history to that point.
